Artifacts Gallery — Attraction in Cambria

I recently visited this art gallery and was impressed by the quality, beauty and fun pieces on display. The collection reflects a high level of talent and creativity — exactly the kind of art I enjoy and am willing to invest in. I purchased a $1500 piece that I genuinely love.

However, I was disappointed by the treatment I received from one of the employees. Their surprise at my purchase and the questioning that followed were both unnecessary and unprofessional.

Respect for customers should be consistent, regardless of background, age or appearance. Exceptional art deserves equally exceptional customer service, and I hope the gallery reflects on this to create a more welcoming and respectful environment for...

I stopped in as there is an artist I like who sells prints and originals through this shop. He place has a great selection of reasonably priced items from art specific to California to commercial items that while good could be found anywhere. It’s a good place to browse. The lady is quite frugal and makes it difficult to spend my kids inheritance. However I did sneak a turtle sculpture for her and she fell for a very nice original mug.

The people in the store are very helpful and down to earth. They let you browse and can provide assistance when asked.

We visited all of the art galleries in Cambria and this one was the best in terms of the variety of paintings, metal art, beautiful colored blown glass pieces and wood carvings. All quality stuff to be sure. We bought a metal art piece of a cypress tree with a golden moon behind it that is just gorgeous, and a perfect item to remember the coast with.
