Can I give them a-quarter an_a_half star Since they're basket of fries were the only food item that was OKA they could do with LESS SEASONING though... the pork ribs were pink UNDER COOKED so was the tri-tip was still pink, the beans tasted waaaay tooo much like BBQ sauce, the margarita was more watered down.. couldn't taste the alcohol...and don't get me started with the flies flying every where Trying to stand on our under cooked food so irritating... The kid who took our order was a little jerk and has no people/customer service skills.. (young white male with black glasses and tattoos on his forearms (like a picture of stick people) he was sort of rude and apparently didn't know what was good on the menu of where he works...and when asked where restroom was he just threw his right arm up and didn't say anything. ALSO they DON'T WASH THE BASKETS/TRAYS ETC. -- they only WIPE THEM WITH A WET TOWEL... THAT IS UNSANITARY... FOOD IS PLACED IN THEM ATLEAST W A S H T H E M ! Me and 16 more family members are coming again this way on November for another tour of the Hearst Castle AND IM NOT BRINGING MY FAMILY HERE TOO EAT... worst $63.00 I've ever threw away on food 🖕🖕👎👎🖕🖕👎👎👋👋👋👋👋👋 9/25/2017 Another review AFTER MY ORIGINAL REVIEW... me, my 11year old, and 15year old GOT FOOD POISONING FROM HERE YESTERDAY... PLEASE BEWARE!!! YOU'RE FOOD SHOULDN'T BE DONE IN LESS THAN 10MINUTES AND THE PORK IS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE "PINK" COLORED - THAT IS RAW MEAT... WE'VE BEEN SICK ALL DAY THROWING UP, NAUSEA, TERRIBLE STOMACH ACHES AND DIARRHEA.... I WILL NEVER EVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE N E V E R AND I CALLED TO SPEAK TO THE MANAGER AND THE GIRL WHO ANSWERED THE PHONE SAID THE MANAGER WOULD RETURN MY CALL THAT WAS AT 11:23AM IT IS NOW 9:27PM AND THEY'RE CLOSED NO ONE EVER CALLED ME I DID SPEND $61.24 THERE... ITS SAD THAT THEY DON'T CARE FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS.

We ordered a bunch of stuff for dinner, since we have a puppy and the outdoor seating is getting a little cold, we brought it to eat at the hotel. The service was prompt and everything was nearly packed. The food was pretty sumptuous and generally pretty good. Our favorite was the pork ribs. It was soft, juicy, fall off the bone, and tasty. We were surprised at the size of cole slaw, for $2.99 we were expecting a small side but it was like a medium side order. The clam chowder was the next favorite on our list, it was still sufficiently hot when we tasted it in the hotel. The Asian salad was nicely put together with a good variety of ingredients and well presented, though I wasn’t a fan of the dressing, it was oily and didn’t have much flavor, it seems to have missed some soy sauce. Luckily there were plenty of other things that were flavorful, we were able to enjoy the best of it.

Three years ago, I gave this restaurant a one-star review because it had an offensive picture mocking Jesus. As a Christian, I found it very disrespectful, and I wasn’t the only one—apparently, many people complained. I stopped by again recently and was pleasantly surprised to see the offensive picture replaced with a beautiful ocean scene. I even asked the cashier about it, and he confirmed they removed it due to multiple complaints. I really appreciate that they listened to their customers. The food this time was fantastic! The salad was fresh and delicious, the fried chicken was crispy and flavorful, the basket of fries was amazing, and both the sandwich and hamburger were great. I’m so glad I gave this place another chance. I’m happy to change my review from one star to five stars for both the wonderful food and their willingness to make a respectful change. Highly recommend!

Worst service I've ever had. First after you order and go to pay they tell you it's a cash only no cards, but point you to an ATM in the corner inside the restaurant. After you use the ATM to pull out cash the ATM says the owner of this ATM charges $2.50 do you want to continue? You already parked your car, came inside ordered and you pretty much have to say yes. I asked who owns the ATM to a tall guy with reddish blond hair. He said excuse me, with a very bad attitude like he got mad but acted like he didn't know what I was talking about. I asked if the ATM is owned by the owner of the restaurant, and he rudly said yes. So they get an extra $2.50 from basically almost every costomer that doesn't have enough cash. So it's cash only, but they have an ATM?? I went to get my order that I just paid him for and he acted like we we're trying to steal someone's food and asked if my daughter was with me? I told him he didn't give me a receipt I forgot I gave it to my daughter before. He printed me out a new one but kept saying I gave you one. Where's your receipt? I showed him and said you just gave it to me. He saw my daughter holding the receipt. And said see I gave it to you and made her show it to him to take our food. I told him your right and he agreed and I said is that what you wanted to hear and he walked away. When we got to the table we realised how very small our basket of onions rings were and my son went and told him that its very small and there was only 5 of them. The basket looked half if that full and told the guy. The guy told my son, not it's not, very rudly, and my son said the customer is always right, and the man replied well not today sarcastically. The guy should be fired. I come up to Morro Bay several times a year because my family owns a home there. This was our first time at this restaurant and it will be our last. There is four of us and this ruined our first impression of this establishment. The guy that was extreamly rudes name is Kyle. I will be telling all my family and friends about this. I've never seen such rude behavior from a cashier in my life. I'd be ashamed if he was my employee. I left the 3 adults not children in the restaurant to eat and came to sit in the car and wait for them to finish. I can't even eat after that experience. I'm appalled by such a rude employee that you have working there. His...

This place is delicious. They have been consistently awesome for many years & a family favorite. We've enjoyed eating inside their huge dining area & outside on the patio. Also, sometimes we pick up food to go, drive a mile away onto Moonstone Drive to park & relax, watch the waves, & eat our meal. It's always a great choice. If you decide the eat in the car part sound good, at the north end of MB Drive is a campground with restrooms to clean up after your meal. Back to my Main Street info, their tri tip sandwich is huge, comes with fantastic flavor, & a nice amount of meat. Their salads (the large sized chicken cobb is my favorite) are large enough to split or put half into the refrigerator for a quick, yummy lunch the next day. My hubby says the BLT (add avocado if you love it like me) is the best one he has ever had. Their fries are so good, but eat them while they're hot, the best. A basket can easily be split by a family of 4 or 5. Two sides of fries = a basket. We don't usually indulge in alcohol, but the bar is nice & has just about anything you want. The crew behind the counter is very helpful with any questions or allergy concerns. I have Celiac & haven't had a problem with their food, but I stick with salads or their bunless tri tip sandwich. Seriously, go here if you want to be sure to have a great...
