Dunkin' — Restaurant in Cambridge

The manager in this place is awful. We sat at the drive-thru for quite a while and one of the screens were off so we thought maybe the drive-thru was down. So we drove up to the window and we sat there for a good while. He knew we were somebody who came to the drive up and didn't wait to put an order in.

So he literally kept ignoring us until we said hello. He literally left customers sitting behind us for a while just to try to ignore us until we left. Then when we did confront him. He insisted it's against the rules and we needed to go around the loop again. Which isn't just a quick easy around. We were sent into a high traffic area where we could get in an accident trying to come back.

You have to go through a roundabout and it's a big deal to come back. We absolutely did come back so we could get the address to make sure we made a complaint on the right Dunkin' donuts.

We will also be calling to complain to corporate since it's the manager and he's not going to take a complaint against himself.

We live in Arlington and come out of our way to come here all the time because we love the coffee and we love the other employees there. This guy treated us this way because we had a mask on.

I will never forget sitting there clearly being ignored.

I went to this Dunkin on my lunch break after using the mobile app. I ordered two wraps, a donut and a coconut milk refresher. The drive thru wait was fine but once I got to the window, I had to ask for my mobile order again. I got my drink and my wraps. The wraps were both totally open and falling apart. My drink actually tastes weird, and I get these refreshers all the time from various Dunkins all over. So I’m worried it will make me sick. But then I asked for my donut. I got a weird look and then was told to go back around through the drive thru to get my donut. Like, my dude I don’t have time for that. That has happened before, I just remind them (I get it donuts are small and non-cooked) and they just grab it. So I just left even though I paid for it. My girlfriend and I stopped in here to pick up food and coffee on the way home. Due to the location, the drive-thru is always backed up so we went inside. We ordered our food and were instantly berated by flies. I can understand a fly or 2 but when there are over 15 flies within sight and none of the food is covered, we were disgusted. I can imagine that if people are so oftenly going through the drive-thru, they would not see this and therefore would not take issue to it. We were able to return our food and get our money back, though not without some guilting by the manager. The same manager also tried to tell us that the board of health and other inspectors have come in numerous times (almost weekly) and never once reprimanded/fined her/the company.
