We've eaten here before and loved the food, so couldn't wait to return. What a letdown. We brought our grandson with us, but never even got to eat. He has a limited number of things he can eat, but eggs are okay. So we asked about getting a kids meal with 3 eggs instead of one. The waitress said two more eggs would be $3.50, and just at that moment my wife found in the extras menu 2 eggs were $2.50. The waitress disagreed and said it was a mistake, and wouldn't adjust the cost. I asked to see the manager. He came out and asked what the problem was, so I explained. He said the menu was wrong, it was a misprint, and we were the first to address it since the menus were printed 4 months ago. I asked why not change the menus if they knew about it. He whined that it was a lot of work to change the menu, and I showed how all he had to do was slip the paper menu out of the holder, and using a pen cross off the mistake and write the correct price. He said he wouldn't and if I didn't like it, then don't order the eggs. I questioned whether his poor customer service was worth losing a customer. He said it was okay with him. WHAT? He was willing to lose a customer for that day and probably forever over a $1 mistake on his part, and by his telling we were the only ones to ever have noticed the mistake since it was printed 4 months ago. So, $1 good will over 4 months, vs. losing business and future business from previously satisfied customers? That manager made a very...
Read moreI'll start out with it's the Fourth of July, they're busy the only reason for 3 stars that's being generous. I had their Country Fried Steak Breakfast, the eggs were good, Hash browns could have been cooked a little longer. The Country Fried Steak the Steak was good the breading tasted like Flour. The Gravy tasted like Flour and had about 3 1/4" pieces of Sausage in it. Not a top Breakfast. My Wife had ordered Eggs and White Toast with 2 extra Eggs which should have been $4.00+$2.50=$6.50, What she got was 2-Eggs and Toast (Which would be 4 Eggs and 2 Pieces of Sourdough Toast and Both Plates looked Exactly the same so I don't know what happened to the Extra Eggs we were charged for ended up paying $8.00+$2.50=$10.50, also ordered a Cinnamon Roll to go saw one go by looked good have not tried it yet but Holy S it was $6.00, so was a $40.00 Breakfast NOT. Probably will never stop again. Also the table across from us had a older Lady and 2 Young Girls the older one of the Girls was drinking Syrup out of the syrup bottle on the table. Eventually the waitress asked her to stop doing that 2 or 3 times and finally the Adult at the table told her not to do it 3 or 4 times before it stopped. But the Syrup bottle was left on the table for others to use. It went from about 2/3 of a bottle to about a 1/4 so not...
Read moreI have not gone back to this establishment for a couple years because my last visit felt like a waste of money. Since my last visit I thought things have changed but it hasn't because again I am disappointed. I am happy to have fellowship and hangout with friends but when it came to my daughter's(6yrs) chicken tenders they were spicy even for me and I enjoy hot sauce. The spice came from the black pepper amount. I did tell someone they apologized which is nice but like I should of done 2 years ago, I will not return. I apologize for this establishment but I do not recommend this place from here on out of I do go out to eat with friends again. I was hoping to feel better but it was disappointing when it came to my daughter's food and quality. I feel like with a little change this Cafe could be rock stars. I haven't worked in food long but I see what we give to those who order, matters. I want my customers to know what they are getting. If you have money to spend then this is a great place to go because if you are disappointed you won't lose out. Otherwise just stay home put in the work yourself and save money. Thanks for reading...
