Minty's Place — Restaurant in Cambridge

We had a wonderful dinner at Minty's last night, our first time there. When we made the reservation, Theresa, the owner could not have been friendlier! When we walked in all the staff made us feel welcome and happy to be there. We asked to meet Theresa and she came out personally and was so friendly. We were seated and the server came and lit candles at our table. The atmosphere is very homey and also romantic with fairy lights on the wall. Servers were great at guiding us to find our menu items as we had so many different things we would have liked to try. We both elected different versions of fried chicken, one smothered with mushroom gravy. Both were delicious, very well seasoned and crispy. Great Experience. The staff was very friendly. The food was simple but delicious. We tried the chicken on a stick which was very moist and well seasoned. We also had the chicken wrap sandwich. It became a little wet because of the slaw inside but that wasn’t a problem for me. The slaw inside made the sandwich unique from any other chicken wrap that I’ve had in the past. The food is literally very delicious. Probably one of the best of Cambridge, MD. The staff/owner are so inviting and friendly, it almost feels like they have sent you a personal invite to have dinner at their home like family. The only small hiccup that we came across, was the waiting for our order. Which the owner herself came over and apologized and was literally the sweetest individual that I have came across in a very long time. So that made it almost worth the wait in itself.
