My partner and I showed up to an empty shop and didnā€™t even get greeted. We stood around and after a couple minutes we finally were acknowledged. I ordered two scoops in a waffle cone. The girl who scooped the ice cream didnā€™t have gloves on and her hair was dragging in the ice cream. I got two pathetically small scoops. My other half ordered the chocolate chip cookie a la mode with caramel cold brew and got it with vanilla instead. Giving two stars because the ice cream is okay. The prices are way too high and the food safety concerns me. I donā€™t like people handling my food with their bare hands.

I don't want to bury the lede, so TRY THE PIE!!!!

Finally stopped in to check this place out. The owner was behind the counter and was extremely welcoming and friendly. This place was beautifully renovated by them, as soon as you walk in it feels like you are at your favorite Grandma's house.

I first asked about the ice cream because I am an ice cream enthusiast. They have Tillamook, which is dang good ice cream. I consider it a slight tier below UW Babcock's Hall, which I know for a fact is super expensive. Even on a commercial level.

But OMG the pie... always the true test of a homestyle bakery. I went home and nibbled on a piece of the back crust and instantly knew we are lucky to have this local business. Maybe the best pie I've ever had. I don't usually get too excited for pie, because imo, even if it's good it's just "ok". This pie is not good. It's outstanding.

Great prices right now as well. I think the slice of pie was $4 or less, and I spotted some pumpkin bars that were at least five inches square in size for $3. This place seems truly special. Do...

Super charming interior, delicious ice cream, and already wanting to go back to sample the baked goods because they looked divine (someone else was getting a chicken pot pie for dinner and goodness do they look delish!).
