There was a small line when I got in But after a short couple of minutes waiting I got to pick out what I wanted from an assortment of different rice, beans, meats and some sides. Beverages and desserts were in fridge near the back.

I got the white rice, red beans, beef stew and plantains. Along with a small canned iced tea and a tres leches cake.

Workers were so kind to everyone and seem to work really well together as a team and business despite the busy day.

The food was PHENOMENAL and absolutely delicious, Love how they also have indoor seating if desired. Tres leches cake is one of my favorite cakes and this one is perfect.

Though my only complaint about this entire experience is that the tres leches cake container was leaking on my way home, the milk of the cake ended up all over the bag and on the box of my food. Thankfully not in the food though. Although it was a mess I cleaned it up quickly with some napkins they had provided in the bag.

For any future orders I make I'll be sure to ask for a separate bag for the tres leches or any other dessert they have to avoid this issue again :).

The food is always absolutely delicious! We had the pepper steak, which melted in our mouths, it was so tender and full of flavor! Also had barbeque ribs, which is their own seasoning, and not some poor bottled sauce- they have their own recipe and it is so amazing that the ribs basically fall off the bone!

Black beans are complimentary with white rice, and we also had the yellow rice with the small green peas. I could live on that rice if that was all I could ever eat!

The counter girl was extremely helpful in explaining all the food, since we know zip about Latin food, but boy, it was delicious and the portions were enough to have a big lunch the next day....

Disappointing and disappointed. It's been over a year since I visited where this was such a gem and often long lines during the lunch rush in downtown Camden. Certainly prices are a little more (too be expected nowadays) but quality has slipped. Pork was overly dry and overcooked which I suspect had more to do with repurposing (leftover) versus freshly made same day.
