Family and I decided to stop and try the tacos here after a visit to Brecknock park across the street. We ordered one barbacoa taco to try and it was real good. We ordered 3 more barbacoa tacos for our son, I ordered the chicken flautas, and my husband ordered the menudo. The bowl of menudo was big and my husband said he’s glad they were not skimpy on the contents of the soup. The food was delicious. We also got three different aguas frescas; watermelon, horchata, and cucumber lime. The drinks were great. One of the girls gave us a sample cup of mango raspadas with chamoy and we enjoyed that as well. We will definitely be back to order a tres leches cake and get some other sweet treats in the future! I had one of the most authentic experiences at this shop, reminds me of my aunt before she moved to Texas. You must absolutely try this at least once, that's all I ask of you reading this. The staff made me feel comfortable the moment I walked in with a friendly greeting and a sample of there juices which I'm definitely heading back for. I got the flank steak tacos and if the succulent meat I tasted in those is any indication of the following menu then I'm willing to bet everything SLAPS on this menu! The desserts my family and I got were good. However, we were in there waiting for about 25mins for some shaved ice and 1 scoop of ice cream.
