I’m excited to take the first-ever offered Charcuterie class. I am thankful the new owners of Cornerstone Coffeehouse are still offering cooking classes in the private back room. A fun Turkey charcuterie class where the instructor, Michelle, offered tips and visual ideas/products. All the products used were from Aldi and Trader Joe’s. Containers were provided for participants to take home any products used during the class after they had a chance to taste them. A local wood artisan, Mike Boughter, offered his beautifully made wood boards. I purchased a small heart-shaped board for my daughter. My only disappointment was that no list of food products used was provided, despite my request for one. The cost of the first-ever charcuterie class: $55 per person. All cooking classes are listed on the Cornerstone Coffeehouse website. You pay via phone call to reserve or stop in to pay. Classes usually sell out quickly since there is a limited number of seats.

Cornerstone has a decent drink and food menu. Their prices are on par with the average coffee house. My wife and I visited on a Sunday morning and the crowd was busy to average with over half the seats being taken inside and outside. They also have overflow seating in a back room that was available. There are restrooms available. The overall atmosphere is eclectic and inviting with people from all walks of life frequenting the business. They are pet friendly with a water bowl outside and they have pictures of dogs that need to be adopted in the back hall by the bathroom and back room. The outside seating is spacious and also split with some available across the parking lot. The drinks were excellent but the long wait to get them was disappointing. Overall I enjoyed the experience and would recommend them for their quality.

Cornerstone Coffeehouse… This place was wonderful! Located in Camp Hill on Market Street, a very busy and upscale area. We arrived on a Saturday around noon, so we expected it to be busy and we were right. Like a busy coffee shop on a Saturday, it took about 15 minutes to get these meticulous drinks made by the friendly baristas. We ordered the seasonal drinks they offered, and they did not disappoint! The Autumn latte (left) and The Spider Bite latte (right) both iced, were so smooth to the taste. The Autumn latte was the perfect amount of sweet, but if you’re looking for something just a tad sweeter with a delicious cocoa taste, go for the Spider Bite. We had to take it to go because of errands, but we definitely would have stayed in the cozy dining area if we had time. Definitely coming back!

Let me start this review by saying I have been coming to this place for at least 7 years. My family has been involved with restaurants my entire life. I have had many bad experiences here, but I figured restaurants are going through a hard time, and I should give some grace. Gradually, over the past few years, I have come less and less. Unfortunately there aren't really many other options in the area for a coffee shop.

So today, I order a burrito , a salad with grilled chicken, a coffee, and a smoothie. Added a bag of 5 small sugar cookies, total was over $45. Tipped 20% per usual. We get our drinks, the food comes out and my husbands $12 salad (which is tiny, and the price without the chicken) comes out in the container it was in in the fridge. I have ordered this many times, and a normal person will not eat a salad in tiny plastic container if they are dining in. I ask the food runner nicely for a plate, she stops, gives me a death stare which was so incredibly uncomfortable I turned to my husband and asked if I was rude when I asked! I was a waitress for 10 years, I am never rude to staff. She was so rude I felt so uncomfortable. There is nothing wrong with asking for a PLATE when you are dining in an establishment. She comes back and sets the plate so loudly onto the table it was so unprofessional. She was obviously annoyed. It was disgusting behavior.

This is only bad review I have written from the MULTIPLE bad experiences I have had. A few weeks ago I was here and waited 25 mins for a simple hot green tea and the staff seemed annoyed when I checked to see where it was. Would not recommend this place at all. The owner has to get this ship tight or...

UPDATE: Since the posting of my initial review, the staff has decided to display the hours of use for their backroom, thus alleviating the problem of costumers being pushed out unexpectedly. IMO this shows a dedication to costumer satisfaction and respect. Much thanks!

Initial review: This coffee house is pretty good for a lot of reasons: the coffee and food taste great, the staff is nice (some exceptions), and the atmosphere is generally welcoming. One problem I've noticed is that the front room can become filled quickly. Now they've sort of alleviated this by opening a back room for customers, but beware: If you happen to use the backroom, you may find yourself being kicked out without warning because someone else had previously booked if for some lunch event. Now this wouldn't be a negative if the room hours were posted in advance, but for some reason that seems out of the reach of the establishment's capabilities. To me this is a reflexion of laziness, but who knows?

All in all, this is a fine place. It's a great alternative to Starbucks and the other chain houses, and if you're looking for a unique feel you should give it a shot. If, however, you're looking to sit down for a nice lunch in the back room, refer to my...

I take it all back. Inconsistent in their drinks. Sometimes very rude. If you order a coffee drink, it is never the same - from very strong to very weak. Sometimes heavy on the milk vs heavy froth. When you call attention to a problem, they argue with you and say it must be your lack of taste.

In response: I did call, and emailed almost 2 months ago. This is supposedly a "woman" owned business and I got a call from a man, who was quite belligerent claiming to be the owner. During the pandemic, I frequented your establishment everyday and on average put $100-$200 per week into your establishment, plus I tip heavily. I do not expect anything out of the ordinary, I expect only politeness and not to be ridiculed. I can name names, but I choose not to. I did not cause a scene, left the store and called the owner and the manager. I don't even get the courtesy of a call.

From my perception, I felt you and Sue were for some reason "afraid" to deal with me, and I had given NO REASON for you to be afraid. I said NOTHING AND DID NOTHING UNTOWARD, but leave the establishment because I was quite angry. That insult was the ultimate and there is zero you can do to ameliorate...
