Sweet Velvet Macarons — Restaurant in Camp Hill

One of the most finicky and often ruined cookie recipes. I have sampled many macarons. These were among the freshest baked Macarons I have had the luxury of tasting. @~$2 a cookie, they are priced to sell, which explains the freshness. All of them were visually appealing and none were indistinguishable from one another, flavor wise. Often the flavor can be lost in the Almond flour. I selected a half dozen box and the attendant mistakenly grabbed a larger box. I could only think of how much I'd regret not getting a dozen and allowed the error to stand. I chose my dozen and took a few pictures of this lovely annex to an amazing baker's heart. This tucked away location does Feature a lovely seating area and a few posh amenities you may need before or after a dozen macarons(i just wanted to identify without bias). Make a u-turn, cancel your plans, run, do whatever you have to do to get here as soon as possible. I'm writing this review from the parking lot after just trying these macarons for the very first time just minutes ago because wowww..its just that good! My husband and I have gone to some pretty popular macaron places across the country and even had macarons from Keegan Gerhard--all fantastic but let me just say..these are better! These flavors are the best I've ever had. The filling is so creamy and the cookie is made to perfection. I've only just begun with our assortment of flavors and am totally blown away by the sugar cookie and vanilla bean! Absolutely get them if they're available. We got a box of 25 for $45 which is an absolute steal, especially given the quality and flavor. Anywhere else you'd pay $4 per cookie. Friendly staff, great macarons...definitely give this...

My husband and I went here today for the first time. We loved how willing the staff was to talk to us about each flavor and their favorites. We could tell how much they enjoyed the products they were helping to sell! We asked a thousand questions and they gave us a rundown of the individual macarons and when we noticed the macaron cakes, explained how cakes can custom ordered. They very patiently helped us pick out the perfect six pack of macarons to enjoy. We were delighted by how beautifully decorated each macaron was and loved the flavors we tried.
