I had a terrible experience with the to go order. I ordered a half pound cheeseburger with fries. I asked for lettuce, tomato, and pickle with onion on the side and mayonnaise only. I did not even get halfway through my order before I was rudely cut off and lectured that this is not a fast food restaurant. That they were very busy and if you tell the Cook that you don’t want certain amount of items, that they will just make the item with nothing on it. I can’t believe how rude the lady was and she just kept cutting me off and lecturing me. Telling me that they were extremely busy and that the cook will get angry at my order. When I arrived, the restaurant only had a few people seated, they were not busy, I placed my order at 11 to purposely miss the lunch rush. When I got there, I asked the lady at the front if she was who I spoke to and she said no. I shared my experience and then got another lecture about the Cook not appreciating the fact that some customers do not want four items (such as no ketchup or mustard) and that if you say you don’t want no ketchup or mayonnaise and onion on the side that the cook will just put nothing on my burger. To make things worse, the french fries were not cooked. I’m really disappointed cause this place got rave reviews, but I would never recommended it nor would I...
Read moreThis place is great and it has the best prices there breakfast burrito I believe is a little heavy on the bacon 🥓 but it's like 3$ so you can't beat it. There burgers 🍔 are good too, I always make it a basket 🧺 its only 1 dollar and it's a heap of fries 🍟. But the best and most innovative thing on his menu is the Montezuma Burger 🏰 🍔. If you are a tourist visiting the castle (Montezuma castle) you will likely pass this place and never see it 🙈 that is a huge miss. If you visiting cliff castle you can hit it too. I'd recommended hitting it in the morning the last few times I or a family member went there he sold out of the Montezuma Burger 😢. He also sell really good honey and it's local so it's good to help anyone who might be allergic to Arizona or the...
Read moreEasily the best fast food in the Verde Valley -- and that's before you consider cost. The prices are amazingly low ($5 for a huge chicken sandwich or hamburger, add fifty cents for cheese, and/or fifty cents for green chili). Make it a basket (add French fries) for a buck more.
The breakfast burritos are also well worth the trip. If you like spicy, the I-17 pileup is delicious. If you don't care for spicy, any one of a number of the breakfast burritos would be a good choice. I have had the bacon egg burrito, but always go back to the I-17 pileup.
You get a lot of food for your money -- and it's tasty. You don't go there for atmosphere, but there is nice scenery if you want to eat...
