Food: 70+ items I went with the. Masala Dosa + Gulab Jamun + Fresh Lime Soda (salt)
The sambar wasn’t too spicy however it is a small quantity. The food comes with several variety of chutneys ( Tomato, Coconut, Ginger and Peanut). Each have their own pro/con to them you just have to try it, my fav was the coconut. The feels big. I love it when the food is bigger than the plate ( not this isn’t sarcasm). The dosa was nice and crisp on the edges and soft as you get to the middle. The masala is small portion as well but not overly salty/spicy.
I did not like how the two bowls were placed on top of the dosa. Not a huge deal but a bit awkward.
Gulab jamun was perfect and the lime masala soda was really well made.
Restaurant Previously this was a Japanese restaurant. New management decided to keep the aesthetic. There is a section that you can reserve that feels more like Japanese dining.
Decent parking around the property, careful when coming in from one of the entrances. There is a metal plate that can be a bit wobbly. Been here 5+times, only made a loud noise once. Two restrooms in the back. Bathroom on the right was pretty big for anyone who might need more space.
Several options for tables/booths. Tables can be a bit close to each other. If you're sitting at a table, careful when ordering more than 2 items. You might run out of space...
They sell some snacks and pickle.
Service.
Food is great overall atmosphere is amazing. There is however one waiter that has been impatient with me and my party on several occasions.
Overall: Overall love visiting...
Read moreAbsolutely disgraceful experience. I don’t think I’ve ever been treated with this level of disrespect at a restaurant. We were still eating when they decided to shut off all the lights—yes, literally plunged the place into darkness—because they “close at 9:30 PM.” No heads-up, no courtesy warning, just lights off while we’re mid-bite. It was like they were kicking us out without saying a word.
To make things worse, we accidentally left our kids’ belongings behind—a small show toy. I called first thing the next morning and guess what? They threw it away. No apology. No effort. Just gone. Who does that?
The service is beyond pathetic compared to their Santa Clara location. No one greets you. No one acknowledges you’re waiting for a table. We were the only ones waiting, and still got ignored like we didn’t exist. I overheard other customers leaving, fuming, because the staff literally shut the doors in their faces at exactly 9:30 PM—again, with zero warning about last call or closing time.
When I tried to politely suggest they should give customers a heads-up about the last order, the waiter smugly told me, “It’s on Google. You should check Google before coming.” Are you kidding me? That’s your idea of customer service?
If I could give this place a negative rating, I would. Absolutely trash service, rude staff, and zero regard for basic human decency. Never stepping foot here again. Avoid this place unless you enjoy being treated...
Read moreVery rude and unprofessional staff. Not all of them but the main guy. The restaurant closes at 9:30 and we called and asked them if we can stop by for thali for 2 people and notified them that we will be there by 9:15 and we did. We were given our food and it was delicious. The main guy in-charge came and conveyed to us that they are closing and asked to hurry. The lights were switched off though people were still sitting and eating at the tables (not just our table). We literally stuffed food to leave the place and meanwhile heard him saying “sollu eskuntu thintunaru” (which means, they are chit-chatting and eating) and he kept on murmuring stuff the whole time we were eating, standing right behind us.
We respect the fact that they were able to accommodate us before the closing time. But serving food and talking stuff like this at the back is very demeaning. We did not stop by to have free food. I think he needs to have some dignity when it comes to talking to customers.
I don’t know what kind of values/principles the guy has received, but no one should serve food and disrespect someone this way.
Never had any issue with the quality of...
