El Chilito — Restaurant in Canby

I'm a person that eats like 5 foods total, (textural issues) so I'm overwhelmed with menu boards and making a selection. I was greeted like family here, they totally took their time with me making sure I was satisfied with my order. This speaks volumes to me because not only was the food perfect in every way, it was 5 minutes before closing, they were completing a large catering order as well, I'm sure ppl wanted to go home soon but, I was addressed no differently from someone placing an order during the day time. I wasn't rushed, I never felt pressured to hurry up, and at 5 minutes till closing, the full menu was open. The only thing they asked of me, was to accept their apology for not being able to stay open past closing so I could eat inside. See? I love real, down to earth ppl. Customer service 10 stars all day! If you're ever in Canby, go check out this little spot, you'll be more than pleased! Kudos to ppl that make this place...

I love these guys. I so badly want to give them 5. The food is 5 the people are 5*. But due to covid-19 had to increase their prices so much so that it's become too expensive to eat there. My wife and I spent $40 for dinner there which we got half the amount of food that you would at a sit-down Mexican restaurant for that price. They used to be very competitively priced but covid-19 pushed there prices so high that we're just probably not going to go back we love you guys we love your food but every online menu shows your burrito prices just as an example as $6 cheaper then what they actually are. So do the covid-19 prices have increased 100 to 300% depending on what you're ordering. It's not their fault like I said we love you guys we want to support you we just can't afford to support you guys I wish you the best of luck and I hope you're still around when this covid-19 ends so that we can come back to being...

The food is delicious here at el chilito I love the staff. It's a hidden gem with authentic food and the best service ever! I really love supporting local businesses. The owner's Francisco and Maria are two of the kindest nicest people you could ever meet.They are like family.The first time you meet them. Their daughters are very personable, polite and knowledgeable about the food.As well as the drinks. They're on the main road and easy to find. The Salsa's are homemade and Scrumptious with a wide variety of dishes are like Mama's home cooking. Burritos, Taco's, Enchiladas or Taquitos, all made fresh to order are so good.
