Ive had my hair done by various stylist through out my life and I've never walked out the salon feeling completely satisfied. I've always walked out thinking "I'll shower and restyle my hair at home and maybe it'll look better then" because the stylist never styles your hair the way you do every day right? And even then it's not exactly what you wanted. I usually contact the salon first and send them a photo or photos of what I want done and ask if they can do it and I bring the photo in with me. Eventually accepting that this is just the way things go and settling for $4 box dye done by yours truly.

Karie was recommended to me when I was looking for someone who could pull off a fashion color that was far more sophisticated than I could do with box dye. So I took a shot! Not only was the environment comfortable, every person I met was kind, funny and real! It didn't feel like anyone was putting on a customer service front or being fake in anyway. Everyone felt genuine.

Being that I've used box dye on my hair, the process to get me from start to finish was time consuming and tricky but Karie never once made me feel like it was an inconvenience and she never rushed through it. I've had plenty of experiences where an appointment ran longer than expected and it was obvious the job was being rush in order to get me out the door. This was not the case at Headcase salon!

I have really struggled with whether I’d leave a review or not. Months later I still can’t believe the experience I had here. I booked a cut with Shelby. I wanted a blunt cut with framing around the face. The cut was done but absolutely no styling. No product. No nothing. As I sat in the waiting room for my husband, I started trying to look at the cut closer to see what it would look like if styled. I finally asked her to take me back and style it a little. She did and I asked for some choppy cuts around the face to be thinned out. It got worse and worse. All I can say that she did right was to stop and ask who I believe is the owner for help.
