The taste of the chicken is like all with the claim of Nashville flavoring. Not really seasoned but coated with the red powder and spicy. Depends on whether you like this type of chicken. The cost for a two peice tender meal that came with a slice of white bread and small fries was 10.99 before tax and an extra tender was 3.99. A drink was not included and the cost of one is about $4. The chicken breading was soggy and under cooked although the chicken wasn't. My ranch cups were less than half full and those are .79 each.
The space was new and clean and anyone taking orders spoke to everyone that came in. It seemed as though there were only young people running the place which would have been fine but they missed customer service opportunities.
They swapped myself and another customer's order, which we had both opened to check. When we told them, they began continually opening our boxes with no gloves trying to figure out what was happening. They didn't offer any type of recoup for issue, they just said oh you had hers and vice versa. We did not know each other so it wasn't like we were secure about the other's hygiene (not that she looked unclean) but it would have been a good way to secure returning customers (he did ask if it was my first...
Read moreI went to Blazin Coop today and wow — it did not disappoint! First off, the Nashville chicken sliders and tenders are hands down some of the BEST I’ve ever had. The chicken is top-tier — super juicy, tender, and packed with bold flavor. You can taste the quality in every bite, and the spices are perfectly balanced with that signature Nashville kick. Not too salty, not too greasy — just right.
Let me just say: the Coop Sauce is elite. It compliments the chicken sliders perfectly, adding that creamy, tangy, slightly sweet edge that ties the whole thing together. I don’t know what magic is in that sauce, but I could put it on everything.
I’ve been following them since they’ve opened their first spot in Ann Arbor and seen some bad comments about this place, and I strongly disagree. The owners are extremely polite and kind you can tell they genuinely care about the food and the people they’re serving. It’s refreshing to see that kind of passion and respect from a small business.
If you haven’t tried Blazin Coop yet, you’re seriously missing out. Do yourself a favor and get those sliders. You’ll...
Read moreSimply the best Nashville style hot chicken you can get. Lived in Nashville myself for several years….tried every “best” one a person can try. Not sure what it is, but there’s just something in the Coop’s blend of spices that makes it the King 👑 of hot chicken. Get nothing lower than the medium, or you’re doing yourself a disservice. Hot is the best overall in my opinion. It’ll light you up a bit, but not uncomfortably.
Only ever been to the Food truck location that’s next to a gas station on one of my least favorite roads to drive on in all of Ann Arbor, but it doesn’t matter. They could serve their food out of a dumpster in an alley and I’d still hand them over my money graciously. Employees are always friendly and sociable. Seem like very nice people, whom possess a true talent if they are the masterminds behind this recipe. Will have to try the official restaurant in Canton, soon! Glad to see their success,...
