We actually haven't eaten the food yet but I'm reviewing now because I'm just a little bit disappointed. I had heard good things about this place from a friend and my son had been talking about Korean fried Chicken and so we wanted to give it a try for the day after his birthday meal.
We were greeted in a rather lackluster manner by a young man who didn't want to explain much but directed us to look at pictures and when he answered questions he talked to himself in a little voice and I couldn't understand part of the things he said. I don't want to slam him but if you are going to work in a customer facing job it's good to try to actually talk to the customer.
I ordered a dozen wings plus two orders of popcorn chicken, half a dozen fried dumplings, and fried tofu. That all came to $50 and I was surprised. I was also surprised when the smallest containers and the lightest weight containers we're at the bag and the heavier, bulkier containers were stacked on top of them. It was awkward to carry and it didn't make a lot of sense.
I hope the food is so delicious that the other things won't matter and I will come edit my review if that...
Read moreBest Korean BBQ I've ever had! I would highly recommend the teriyaki and the garlic sauce for the wings. I ordered a dozen and they will make it half of one sauce and the other a different flavor. They also have a nice variety on their menu as well. The service was great. The man behind the counter was so nice. You order at the counter and then go sit at a table. They bring your food out and they clear the dishes for you also. My grandkids like the small bottles of Korean pop. You have to take off the cap and push this top down into the bottle. It releases a small marble that stays in the upper part of the bottle. It then releases the carbonation for the pop. It's safe and the kids had fun and enjoyed it. I highly recommend K-BBQ. I will definitely be going...
Read moreThis was a spur of the moment choice but both my friend and I love Korean food. This is a small place, likely family-owned. IME, those can be the best places for finding good Asian food on the whole. The menu is simple but perfect. I'm a vegetarian and their veggie bibimbap was great. I'm shorting it a star because I like mine in a pot with an egg cracked on top. This was the metal bowl type. Great flavors though, especially after I asked for some sesame oil to stir in. I really can't eat bibimbap without it. We split a portion and were both satisfied. I found the price point for a serving to be a bit high at $10.99. Then again, I'd still rather give money to a small place than a huge one, plus I...
