I can't even begin to express how much Nothing Bundt Cakes in Canton, MI went above and beyond for us â not just with their delicious cakes, but also with their impeccable sense of humor!
My brother Mitch, the poor guy, lost a bet and had to pick up an order of cakes for our clients dressed in what can only be described as the most frilly, ruffled, and outrageous pink ballerina outfit imaginable. Weâre talking a tutu that would make even the most fabulous flamingo jealous, a boa that left a trail of pink feathers in his wake, and â my personal favorite â those perfectly ruffled bottoms that just scream "I'm pretty, oh so pretty!" đ
Now, I thought the embarrassment would peak when he walked into the bakery, but the Nothing Bundt Cakes team had other plans. Not only did they warmly welcome "Ballerina Mitch," but they also asked him to perform a few ballet moves for the customers. And because that clearly wasnât enough, they had him act out a full "Iâm a Little Teapot" performance, complete with the handle, the spout, and the daintiest little tip-over youâve ever seen. đ¶ Trust me when I say, the sight of Mitch in those ruffled bottoms bending over was pure comedy gold.
Oh, and the best part? The staff told him heâs now their official "Cakes in Tights" delivery guy, and theyâre absolutely bringing him back. In fact, they said they canât wait to post the whole thing on social media! So if you missed Mitchâs magical ballerina debut, donât worry â the world will get to relive the horror (or delight, depending on how you see it) very soon! đ
Honestly, Iâm not sure what was better: the melt-in-your-mouth cakes or watching Mitch awkwardly wave to passing cars in his tutu as people honked and waved back, probably wondering what alternate reality they had just driven into.
The cakes were, of course, divine â rich, moist, and perfectly frosted. But letâs be real: Mitchâs frilly-bottomed ballet routine is what really stole the show. If you want the best cakes in town and maybe a surprise ballet performance, look no further than Nothing Bundt Cakes in Canton!
Mitch, your tutu-wearing days arenât...
Read moreNothing Bundt Cakes has been my favorite spot since I discovered it a few years ago. Their cakes are down right delicious. I bought the cakes for birthdays, prom send offs, and for just because. My family enjoys the cakes as well. I've never had one that I didn't enjoy until Saturday, March 1, 2025. I bought a large strawberry cake for my father-in-law's 81st birthday and 2 mini bundt cakes, lemon and oreo. To my shock, the cake wasn't cooked all the way through. The texture was off, and it was overly moist in the middle. It wasn't enjoyable. I only had one slice. I was severely disappointed. I had bragged about the cake all day for nothing. When I went in the bag to hand out the mini bundt cakes that I purchased, I saw that instead of the lemon I was given white choclate raspberry; however, this mix up was the least of my concerns. I contacted the store and spoke to the manager about my under cooked cake. She said I would need pictures of the cake or the actual cake to prove that the cake wasn't cooked thoroughly. I was taken aback. After all of the cakes that I purchased, not to mention the mini bundt cakes that my daughter and I purchase all the time, I had to show pictures. Is this any way to treat a repeat customer? I was offered free mini budnt cakes. Why would I want free mini bundt cakes when I spent $50.00 for a large cake? I requested to speak to the manager's manager because I know this couldn't possbily be common procedure. I haven't heard from anyone. This is poor customer service. It's unforuntate that due to this poor experience, I will not be spending another cent at this store. This is a warning to stick to the mini bundt cakes. If I were you to avoid what happened to me, NEVER purhcase a large cake...
Read moreIâve been a nothing Bundt cake customer since this place opened in canton. I purchase these probably on a biweekly basis for all the birthdays, dinner, and gatherings. Whenever I walk in Iâm able to choose my bundintinis, the last few times I walk in the person behind the counter claims they are âshort staffedâ and would need 25-45 min to grab already made 12 little tinis to put in a box. lol service absolutely sucks. And the reasoning behind âshort staffedâ when Iâm the only one in the store and there are two young ladies behind the counter is just a sad excuse for this. If she wouldâve said 10-15 min I wouldâve waited just to have the flavors that I would like rather than what they are forcing me to purchase because I donât want to wait in the store. 25-45 minutes is ridiculous. So an alternative is grabbing an featured assortment of cake in a box that who knows when it was packaged and it can be given to be within a few minutes. Do better. I spend so much time and money here that this is a ridiculous...
