Once upon a time, in a small town, there was a Pizza Bar that was unlike any other. The three barmaids who worked there were not just ordinary barmaids; they were magical beings who served magical beer. Their names were Marina, Tina, and Agneje.
One day, a young man named Matt entered the Pizza Bar. He was feeling a bit hungry and decided to grab a bite to eat. As he looked at the menu, he noticed that they offered a special kind of beer that was said to have magical properties. Intrigued, Matt decided to give it a try.
As he sipped on the beer, he suddenly felt a strange sensation come over him. His surroundings began to change, and he found himself transported to another dimension. He was no longer in the Pizza Bar; instead, he was standing on the deck of a pirate ship at sea.
Matt looked around in disbelief, trying to make sense of what was happening. He looked down at his hands and noticed that he had been transformed into a pirate ship captain. He wore a tricorn hat, a red coat, and a sword at his side.
Just then, he heard a soft splashing sound coming from the water. He looked over the edge of the ship and saw that the three barmaids had been transformed into mermaids. Marina, Tina, and Agneje were swimming around the ship, their tails glistening in the sunlight.
Marina swam up to the ship and offered Matt a slice of pizza. He eagerly accepted, feeling grateful for the unexpected snack. Tina was busy rolling silverware, and Agneje was sitting at the bar, regaling Marina with tales of her recent magical voyage.
As Matt ate his pizza, he marveled at the beauty of the mermaids swimming around the ship. He felt a sense of wonder and awe at the magical world he had found himself in.
Eventually, Matt's pizza finished baking, and he was transported back to the Pizza Bar. He looked around, still feeling a bit disoriented from his journey. Marina approached him with a smile, asking how he had enjoyed his magical beer.
Matt grinned and replied, "It was incredible! I never would have believed it if I hadn't experienced it myself."
With a chuckle, Marina said, "That's the magic of our bar. You never know where a sip of our beer might take you."
Matt nodded, feeling grateful for the adventure he had just been on. He finished his pizza and left the bar, already looking forward to...
Read moreWe've had excellent experiences dining in at Palermo. The wait staff is friendly. The pizza has always been wonderful, and the antipasto salad is so generously topped that you're often left wishing there was more lettuce for the toppings. I can't say the my carryout experience was as good.
We ordered a large pizza. At the price point they charge, it should be consistently wonderful. There was no sauce on any part of the pizza except right up near the outer crust. Their sauce is part of what makes their pizza so good. If this had been the first time I'd ordered their pizza, I would not be back--at least not for pizza. I also ordered a medium Greek salad. It came with one 4 oz. container of dressing ¾ full, and ¼ of that was feta cheese, so there was not nearly enough dressing for the salad. The chef placed a pile of circularly sliced onions on top of the lettuce and then piled everything else on top of that. When I went to get salad out with tongs, the tongs picked up some of the circular onions, causing a bunch of feta and beets to spill onto the counter. I had to dig the onions out, throw half away, and cut the rest up so they could be picked up with a fork as part of the salad. The bottom of the salad container had water in it, so I had to dry the lettuce on the bottom before putting the leftovers away so it wouldn't get soggy.
I don't often call to complain, but since I didn't enjoy any of my dinner, I picked up the phone. The manager said he was sorry and said he'd remake it if I bring it back right then. I don't have time for an extra half hour of driving and a half hour to wait for another order to be cooked. I explained this and he said he understood and said when I come back, mention this to him and he'll give me a discount. I don't know who I talked to and don't really think I should have to mention this to him. This isn't how I expected this situation to be handled, and I'm disappointed. If we go back it'll be to dine in, and fingers crossed there's sauce on all of the pizza and the salad is...
Read moreWe were in town for a wedding and chose Palermo Pizzeria and Restaurant based on their good Google Reviews (and how hungry we were). We arrived around dinner time on a Friday night and, pleasantly, did not have to wait to be seated (party of 3). There were many choices that all sounded delicious! We ended up choosing several different pasta dishes for our entrees and added the soft breadsticks (delicious!) and fried mushrooms as appetizers. Two people in our party thought that the pasta (not sauce as they had different types) tasted a little sweet compared to normal, but not in a bad way. Each pasta dish had a huge portion and we took leftovers back to our hotel. The side salads included with dinner arrived and they were spectacular looking! I wish I had taken a photo to post here. Both my daughter and I remarked at how lovely they looked - definitely not the handful of lettuce topped by a small pile of carrots you get most places. The staff were very polite and very efficient! I could tell that they were definitely servers who knew how to do their job(s) well. We had great service and food at Palermo Pizzeria and Restaurant and I would not hesitate to return and/or recommend it to friends who would be in the area. Thank you for...
