I placed an order requested contactless delivery. The instructions I left were "ring bell walk down the stairs and leave at door with glass window." The point of this is to use the door as a barrier between me and the delivery driver. The delivery driver who disregarded everything written and started to approach the door. I let the unmasked ungloved (even though it's the law!!!!!) Know to leave it at the door. With a smirk he replies "oh leave it here" and drops my food on the floor. I typically wait for the driver to leave before retrieving my food but with the attitude of this driver I rushed through the door to get my food. No sooner do I open the door does the disgusting germ ridden delivery driver starts open air hack coughing. Like seriously? If this is the attitude you're business is going to take during covid19 just close down. We called to explain to someone the experience we just had with the delivery. Of course we were treated as if we we're the problem. Completely dismissed and we're told "Oh and about the cough he's a smoker you do understand smokers cough right?" So you're breaking the law and now you speak to the customer as if we're stupid. Like you have an issue with reading and comprehension yet I'm talked to like I'm stupid. I spend my money I expect respect instead you get mediocre food poor customer service and talked to like you're an idiot. I read a review from 2 months ago mentioning they weren't wearing masks. That customer was told they will resolve the issue. 2 months and still no masks. This place is going to be the cause of a covid19 outbreaks in canton if they don't do better and resolve this. Absolutely...
Read moreNew to the Canton/Stoughton area and trying to find a decent pizza stop. So I stopped in D&E tonight. The location is wonderful. Right where I think would be considered the center of town with large sidewalks and some sort of sitting area/park diagonal across the street. It's right between a Thai restaurant and a bar/pub so the combination of food scents walking up was pleasant without being overwhelming. I was only waiting a minute or two before the worker acknowledged me. He was super friendly and personable. Imagine your friends italian uncle that just everyone loves and calls them uncle Tony. That's the impression he gave me, just genuinely warm and friendly. He recommended the chicken parm. It was ready in about 10-15 minutes and I was on my way. My biggest challenge with sub shops is usually by the time I get home either the bread is soggy or it tastes like day old leftovers. That wasn't the case here. The bread was crispy without being burnt and each half of the sub was LOADED with chicken. Honestly I could've skipped the bread and had more than enough chicken for a full meal. I ate about half the sub before I was full. I just wish there was a tiny bit more cheese but I would rather too little than too much. Next time I will try their pizza... and if I'm half as satisfied with that then I may have found my new local spot. Also, process are very reasonable they just don't offer the option to add a tip to a card so bring a...
Read moreI was looking for some local flavor when I found this place. It isn't fancy, just a standard local sub and pizza shop. It feels local and you feel good supporting a local family who worked hard to build this business. It is easy to find and easy to access. The staff is friendly and they were happy to explain some of the menu options. I ordered some fried Mac and cheese bites, a salad that was loaded some of the most tender and juicy steak pieces. Nothing skimpy, everything clean and generous toppings. I went with a white pizza which is usually my favorite but I regretted that choice. It was delicious but I wish I had tried one of their creative options. They have some wild combinations - salads on pizza, chicken fingers, cheeseburgers. I'll be more adventurous next time. I think there may have been a protest or something happening. I ran into a mess like this a couple of weeks ago downtown but this time it was a loud man flailing around outside the front door, just yelling terrible things. I thought the workers were extra impressive because they were nice and helpful to me despite what I imagine was a pretty unsettling situation for them. Thanks for the tasty feast, the good prices and...
