Pho 29 — Restaurant in Canton

We are a group of 4. Three of us ordered beef Pho ( rice noodles) soup, and we all loved it! The big bowl of soup with fresh bean sprouts/basil/lime cubes quenched my thirst for a good hearty Vietnamese noodle soup. It’s family owned small place, but neat and clean. My friend ordered stir fried ToFu with rice noodles and Napa cabbage. He said it’s delicious. We also ordered summer rolls, spring rolls and crispy wantons as appetizers, all turned out great! I don’t know why there’s so many good reviews for this place. There’s other Vietnamese restaurants 100 times better than this place. Went here for the first time today. The space was tight and small. The humidity was unbearable as I had a hard time breathing. It was so quiet I could hear a pin drop. Seriously, play some authentic Vietnamese music, or something. The food was over priced and was average tasting, compared to other Vietnamese restaurants. I won’t be coming back...

I have been wanting some really good Pho since I moved here from NYC (I was quite spoiled there) and finally came across some that was on the same level as the incredible Pho I have had there.
