Panera Bread — Restaurant in Canton

I can't believe this location can't get an order right. They were good when they first opened, but now they're as bad as the Towne Lake location. I even made a special trip there to speak with the manager because of so many mistakes. We are being ripped off because we are not getting what we paid for. They begrudgingly offered us a free meal. I didn't ask for it so that's their choice, but they seemed like they really didn't want to do it. We went there Saturday evening, and our order was wrong again! Is it really that hard? Once again, you're stealing from your customers by not giving them what they paid for. Enough is enough! Train your staff! Although some of the managers are probably the problem. One time we were there, the manager was just leaning against the kitchen window/counter holding her head in her hands waiting for food to be ready instead of cleaning off tables and floors so that customers had somewhere to sit. I have never been to a Panera restaurant before working at this one. I had heard a lot of good things about Panera, and while the taste was good, I wasn't impressed. The sandwich portions are small compared to other places, but the prices are a little high for what you get. The sandwiches are made fresh, as the bread is baked fresh. As most restaurants do, the soups are pre made and shipped in frozen. I worked there a short time and was forced to resign because I had a mild stroke. The people at this location are good people, but as a certified food safety manager, I would not eat here. They are very clean overall, but a few things concerned me. One of the girls that weighs the meat portions was allowing her horsehair "dreadlocks" to hang down and touch the meat as she worked. If you have a nut allergy, avoid this place. The nuts used in the recipes are easily spilled into the other ingredients from a location above the food...

Terrible experience the last couple times I’ve come here. Tonight the workers at the register were rude & after they took my order they quickly ran off to a booth where all the staff was goofing off while people were waiting. I had to ask for my cups twice & more people were waiting to order and all while 6 of the staff were congregating in a booth doing NOTHING! The place was nasty with every table being gross. We had to clean our own table to be able to eat. The windows, booths, floors and all are just so gross & dirty. I really don’t know how they are still in business. The last time I came here I placed a to go order & arrived 20 min after my pick up time which was 1 hr from when I placed the order and my order still wasn’t ready! Waited 30 minutes…. 2 hours after placing my order for them to tell me they are out of food. I got a refund and left. The customer service is awful, the manager is no better than the...
