My family of 6, LOVED this restaurant. We ate here 3 times while staying at the Silver Spur Resort. The staff was friendly and the decor and every little detail that added to the fun ambiance inside the restaurant was above and beyond, including the old fashioned phone and the interactive door in the wall with the automated old man in the outhouse (my kids giggled at his verbal recordings). The food was delicious (I recommend the Blacksmith Brisket Tacos and the Texas Delight dessert!) and the prices were reasonable! They even provide complimentary mini-cornbread muffins in an iron skillet, drizzled with honey and a side of ranch style beans! It was a perk to have an onsite brewery (my husband tried the flight and walked away with a growler), and the root beer was excellent (and I am not a fan of RB). We appreciated the option to order a "family meal" from the restaurant and had it delivered to our cabin (great family meal options and an excellent deal for what you get, we somehow had leftovers with our family of 6). We enjoyed the 1.5 racks of ribs, greens (I wanted my boys to experience some authentic southern cooking), and scrumptious smoked creamy mac 'n cheese-seriously order extra mac, because it is THAT good! I wish we had a Q&Brew in San Diego!

My wife and I stoped in for lunch and we are glad we did. We shared the corn in a cup and the three meat plate and both had their Millions of Peaches beer. The corn in a cup with the brisket on top was great! My wife didn’t want to share, lol. For the meat we had the brisket, ribs and their hatch chili stuffed sausage. The brisket was a little dry but still had a good pepper flavor, the ribs were cooked perfectly for my taste, not too tender but came off the bone nicely while eating. NOW LETS TALK ABOUT THAT SAUSAGE…. Holy cow that stuff is delicious (we ordered four to take home). Probably one of, if not the, best sausage I’ve ever had and my wife agreed 100%. Jack, the owner, stopped and spoke with us for a few and we spoke mainly about their brewery. He let me sample several and all were great, especially the Hefeweizen. Great little spot.

Q & Brew at the Silver Spur Resort at 13785 TX-19, Canton, TX 75103 was a great experience, we are locals who love to eat out! We had the Cowboy Stuffers - stuffed jalapeños with cream cheese & brisket wrapped in smoked bacon. Coated with a smoked glaze that made me a my wife nearly cry lol the 3rd pic reflects how good they were we forgot to take a pic before eating all of them, they were fantastic, we will be going back for this item for sure. We both had the sliced brisket sandwich I had baked beans and my wife had the fries it was good. BBQ sauce was good and the brisket was very tender. A bit to much fat for my wife but I thought it was fine. Service was spectacular and price was fair. We will be going back to try more of the tasty items they offer.

Whiskey River craft beer. Took 8 months to brew and the taste was so worth the time!!! Absolutely outstanding taste. We described it as a mullet of craft beers: party in the front, as it has an awesome initial taste in the mouth and then business in the back, with a mellow leftover taste. Orders: 1. 3 meat of brisket slice, the new habanero garlic sausage and chicken with beans and mac, 2. 3 meat with chop brisket, ribs and garlic sausage with fried okra and coleslaw, 3. Brisket sandwich with parm fries 4. Another shared chopped brisket with parm fries. Also ordered the jalapeno poppers (forget what they call them). BBQ bacon wrapped, brisket stuffed jalapenos. I actually prefer their old syle ones. The BBQ sauce made it too sweet. The brisket was good but the jalapeno wasnt spicy, so this dish fell flat for me. Chips and salsa, delicious. Could spoon eat that salsa!!! Chips are crispy and they give you plenty of them. We had a party of 6, so it was plenty. Service: we didnt catch names, so can just describe them: the main waitress we had was the shorter dark haired lady- issues here started from the beginning unfortunately: when serving us, she handed everything down for us to hand to each other. Then when serving the flight of beer to one of us, her zipper from the handheld fell into one of the beers. Our person moved it out of the way as she was handing drinks to others to pass down. This is clearly bad service . The other two waitresses: a blonde and another taller dark haired woman both kept us in drinks and didn’t seem to mind that they were not our initial waitress. Didnt catch your names, but thank you BOTH. We did have a DD, as we drank quite a bit of that whiskey river. Unfortunately they didnt have growlers and were not allowed to growler out the whiskey river beer due to its high alcohol content. They made a winner of a beer with this thing and hope they take the time to make another batch!! Ok food: ive never tried fried okra, so it being my first time, it was very good flavor. The coleslaw needs quite a bit more salt or a splash of vinegar. The parm fries are great . Mac and cheese was just right and not to creamy/soupy. Awesome recipe on those for sure. Sliced brisket was flavorful, chicken was juicy and the new habanero garlic sausage was amazing!!! That is another winner and the reason we all actually decided to come here tonight. This place is just a skip off of I20 and is at the entrance of an RV resort. Been coming here a few years. The remodel is awesome, the beers are ice cold, the Q is great. Great atmosphere. Highly recommend this place for a quick bite, a beer or two or the almost 3 hours we spent here for a weekly dinner our...

We might have come on an off night but, the service was terrible. Food was good, just awful service from start to finish. Took several minutes just to get sat. Some little guy greeted us and told us someone would be with us shortly. There were three tables of people eating there already. At least five minutes later a young lady asked us if we'd been helped and showed us to our table. Waitress seemed nice but, she was all over the place. We asked about getting something to drink. She brought a beer menu out about her fourth trip to table. She told us the cooler was broken so they only had two of their beers available. I asked if they had any wine and she said she'd bring a wine list. Don't know why they just didn't bring all the three menus out from start but, they didn't. Ordered an app the third time she came to table. She still had not brought the wine list. The app came out and we ordered our food. Still no wine list. We split a three meat plate. Ordered two side salads. We paid for an extra side with bbq plate. The bbq came out before salads. No bbq sauce was brought out with plate, no salads. We asked for the salads, the wine list, and bbq sauce. They brought the salads only about five minutes after the bbq with no bbq sauce or wine list. Asked about both those items again. She went and got the sauce but, still no wine list. By the time we finished the salads and went back to eat our bbq it was all cold at this point. She came back to see if we needed anything and I asked her about the wine list for the fifth of sixth time. She finally brought it out. She never came back after that. We never ordered wine like we wanted to and she never came back to check on us again or even bring out our check. We just went up to the register saying we were ready to go and it took another 10 minutes for them to track down our check so we could leave. It just seemed like the whole place was being ran by a bunch of kids that had no idea what they were doing. This was 7/20 around 5:15pm when we...

Atmosphere good, food good, but everything was ruined due to the waitress not allowing us to split the check. This could of been avoided if we were told this from the start. Our party was around 20 people, and she presented one check. When I asked for my check, she said she couldn't do that. I never heard any place that wouldn't allow you to pay your portion of a check. After asking her several times for my check & everyone was trying to figure out how we were going to pay our part, the waitress said she had other tables to wait on. I walked up front and asked if I could pay for my portion of the ck and was told no. I have never heard of not being able, or willing to allow you to pay separate. FYI...unless one person wants to be stuck with paying for everyone else at the table, ask for separate checks at this resturant. This outing could of been a wonderful outing with family, until one family member had to pay for all. Re: Response from owner after talking to waitress. WRONG!!! Everyone at the table is my family, & we get together often, no one at that table is financially able to pick up the entire ck for that big of a check. The check was not paid for prior to the discussion regarding splitting the check. The discussion regarding splitting the ck started exactly when she brought the check to the table. She told us the check was already printed with all on one check & she couldn't split it with individual family checks. We were all trying to figure out why not be able to split it, and she stated we needed to figure out what we wanted to do, but with no options, other than one person pay entire ck. She said she had to wait on other tables, like I stated, good visit ended on a bad feeling for all. AND THAT'S EXACTLY...
