Dairy Queen — Restaurant in Canton

Normally love DQ but NOT THIS ONE. How can you mess up Ice cream? Well if it's a Snickers Blizzard, you mess it up by LEAVING OUT one of the main ingrediants (SNICKERS) almost completely. I stirred it looking for Snickers and all I saw was whiteness with a few specs of brown. Literally about 1/2 teaspoon of Snickers. Really!! I took it back to the counter and showed them there was no Snickers in this Snicker Blizzard. The guy at the counter said he'd check then didn't come back. Then I showed it to another guy (the one that made it) and he said, "I see Snickers. We use a scoop to add the ingrediants." Me, "yes I understand, we visit DQ all the time and their Blizzards actually have Snickers in them." I stirred it again to show him there was nothing there and he still did nothing. He said he was SORRY though. I said, "if you were really sorrry, you would FIX IT." He just turned his back on me. WOW!! Now it's no longer about the Blizzard, its the SERVICE. Not Poor-Fair... just POOR!!

My husband and I eat DQ regularly at various locations. He loves Snickers Blizzards and many times, this is his meal... like on this visit. So when they leave out the Snickers, what is the point of going to DQ? Maybe this was a bad night (12/19/12) for this crew but they LOST ME AS A CUSTOMER. Guess if they do that enough times, they won't have to worry about it...

This place is just like every DQ I've been to, so not sure why some on here say it's the best DQ they have ever been. Some of the staff come-off as they do not want to be there (might have something to do with the young age of the staff as it's just how some act).

Food is like every other DQ I've been to. It's ok but nothing to take pictures of and post on social media. It's just ordinary food (except for their fries as they are really good).

Every time I go the place is generally clean, so no complaints there.

Canton, Texas is one of those towns where some of their restaurants play nothing but Christian music. Just wish they would play a variety.

Another strange thing is they have a Bible out for people to highlight their favorite verse, so don't forget to highlight Romans 14:1-23 about eating unclean food while you are at it.

I am not hating on DQ, but it does come across as being pushy with religion. As the rest of these sinners, I am there...

My black husband went in to order a burger and fries and drink. 30 minutes later he walked out with cold fries and a burger that was not made as ordered. Walking back to go back inside as he checked his order in his vehicle and found his order was messed up, the girl who was smirking at him and served 6 drive through orders and 2 customers inside after he ordered, ran to the door and asked "is there something wrong with the order?" He said and told her this issue. She immediately snatched the bag from him and went and got the manager. The manager came out and asked if he paid with cash or credit card. The manager gave him his cash back. She did not apologize for the inconvenience or the fact that the order was cold and not made as ordered. Thus location has poor service and its employees need not work in the service industry if they are prejudice against people of color. Hence they will never get our service again. This location...
