High Priority - Employee touched face/hair and then engaged in food preparation, handled clean equipment or utensils, or touched unwrapped single-service items without washing hands. Observed cook touching face, aprons and pants while engaging in food preparation. Educated cook on proper hand washing and not touching cloths or aprons while preparing food. Corrective Action Taken Warning High Priority - Raw animal foods not properly separated from each other in holding unit based upon minimum required cooking temperature. Observed raw chicken over raw ground beef in walk-in cooler. The manager moved the raw chicken to other side of walk-in cooler with other raw chicken. Corrected On-Site Warning High Priority - Time/temperature control for safety food cold held at greater than 41 degrees Fahrenheit. Observed raw chicken (46F - Cold Holding); raw cod (48F - Cold Holding) in stand up reach-in cooler across from waffle maker. The manager is placing the raw chicken and raw cod on ice. This place just keeps getting worse and worse. We sat down and a male bartender came to us with menus. We asked him to wipe off the table since all of the high tops were dirty. He never came back was Samantha did. She took our drink order and brought them to us and then went outside for about 15 minutes. As she walks past us as she was coming back in to work, she failed to ask us if we were ready to order, so I waved her down and asked if we could order! She asked absolutely HORRIBLE. Zero personality, zero attention to customers and zero caring about her role. I'm not sure who in their right mind hired this chick. We ordered pizza and the crust was not done on the bottom and resembled a wet soggy lasagna noodle. 🤢🤮Then we were charged for a bucket when we had 3 beers and then were given 2 beer chips for "next time". We didnt receive a check to review. Samantha just came to us with a credit card machine and told us what our bill amount was. She also had not taken off their game day special of $5.00 off until we asked if she took it off. We won't be back!! I miss the old staff that was...

I won't go back. I'm a local who wanted to check this place out after reading its good reviews. First, Cara served me a warm beer. When I pointed that out she took it and poured it in a cold glass and handed that same beer back. The glass was cold, the beer was still warm. I ordered the surf and turf and when it came out, I asked "where is the salad?" I clearly read on the menu that entrees come with a salad and a side. I let it go before my tough steak got cold then asked her for a menu again. I showed Cara what I saw on the menu and she said, "Oh, your right, do you want a salad?" What a bizarre question... Ah Yeah, so I got it to go. Advice, unless it's your first day, know your menu and don't bicker denying such a low cost item to your guest. Then while I was eating, Melissa (I think her friend said her name was) sat close to me and had a weird argument with this friend, right after getting off her shift. It felt like it was intentional for this newcomer not to feel welcomed back. There's a lot of great choices in the Cape... Big 10 Tavern ought to keep...
