Ordered 3 items and they left one item out of bag. We had to go up again and get what we ordered and paid for bit asked if they could remake the food since we already put it on our plate before realizing we were missing an item. They said they would. When we got there they only gave us the one thing we were missing. Then when I called them back they put me on the phone with someone who I could barely understand so I asked to speak to the person that I spoke to before to confirm what they were going to do for us. I belive they were trying to give us one of the items that we order for free on our next order. She then starting talking in Chinese to the other person I asked to speak to then hung up on me. When I put the item i was missing on my plate there was a hair in it. What is the point for calling back?? They did nothing for me to begin with while I waisted gas going to pick up my order that was missing that was more than likely microwaved to keep warm rather than them making another one. I WILL NOT BE ORDERING FROM HERE ANYMORE!! You could have made it right and didn't. Now I waisted money on food I didnt eat and am eating nothing. Going back to my regular Chinese place in the publix plaza on Santa Barbara and Hancock. We wanted to TRY this place because it is closer to the house. I will drive further for...
Read moreYes, I have to agree with so many other people here. This location on Santa Barbara Blvd was not really good at all in terms of quality of food. (We always order at the one on Hancock Bridge Pkwy by the Publix, and we've never had a problem with that location. Always great food there!) I don't even know why we had the menu for this one, but I ordered thinking it was the one we normally go to and found out I had the wrong location.
Thought... they are both the same place, so the food should be the same, right? So stupid for ever thinking that. My husband and I ordered 3 egg rolls, saute green beans, cashew chicken, and house special fried rice. The green beans and rice were ok. But the egg rolls were tough, not crispy, and had a dense chewy uncooked texture. I thought maybe since I got the location wrong and had to drive another 10 minutes may have dried them out, but my husband said, no, they still should be full of meat and veggies and still be crispy and they not....no not at all. They were really bad. And the cashew chicken had like 0.0001% chicken and like 99.9999% celery and other unrecognizable chopped veggies. And maybe some cashews.
Not the same as the other location who always gets it right. Will not be returning to this one and will remember to get and keep the menu of...
Read moreWalk in, ordered take out. Bourbon Chicken lunch special and an order of crab rangoon. Asked the cashier of she could make the bourbon chicken spicy, she said that they could and marked it on the ticket. Paid. Walked next door to get half a sub for my Mom and returned 5 minutes later to wait. The food was already finished which seemed really fast even for Chinese food. I asked if he had made it spicy and the cashier yelled back to one of the cooks in another language and he replied. She proceeds to grab a 1 oz souflee cup of chili oil and say "he forgot but this is spicy". OK, whatever. Got home and opened the takeout container to find that the crab rangoon resembled over-fried little hockey pucks filled with a little bit of filling. Yuck, The "bourbon chicken" was in no way "bourbon". I have had a lot of bourbon chicken and this was not it. This looked and tasted like generic chinese style chcken pieces tossed in some kind of red sauce. It was almost like sweet and sour sauce but not really sweet or sour and very greasy. The side of fried rice had very little else in it and was also fairly tasteless. Needless to say I was very disappointed. Next time, I will follow my instincts and go next door to 3 peppers burrito Co. where the food is consistently good. I will not be back to...
