A Fun Place, Great Food and A Patio We have passed this place many times and finally stopped in - glad we did. We were promptly seated outside on the covered patio as we requested. This is one large patio that can accommodate many people with a good size bar to sit at. The patio does overlook busy Pine Island Road and road noise is present, especially by those drivers who like to rev their motors knowing there’s a crowd there to impress, but it’s very tolerable. Not unlike most late afternoons in this region, it was hot, but the numerous fans and open sides moved the air making it very comfortable. We arrived about 5:00 and our server told us about their Happy Hour which has dollar off some tap beers and maybe some mixed drink specials that ends at 6:00. Our server made sure I could get in another beer order before HH ended and I appreciated that. I opted for Yuengling Draft for $3.50. My wife chose Unsweetened Iced Tea $2.99. Their food menu is quite extensive, sure to please anyone. We found a Specials card on our table and ordered from that. (Not sure if these were daily, weekly, or seasonal specials.) My wife ordered the Seafood Rice Bowl ($15.99) and I ordered the One Pound Peel and Eat Shrimp ($18.99). The Rice Bowl was a winner! She ordered it as grilled, so sitting atop a bed of seasoned rice were 3 or 4 large shrimp, several Mahi Mahi nuggets, onions and peppers, all grilled with Cajun seasoning. Just a little heat, not too spicy. Both the shrimp and fish were perfectly cooked. I can’t recall if I could get my shrimp warm or cold, but mine were cold and that was fine with me. This was a very generous pound of 20 shrimp that I’ve ever had. These were multi-biters that had been steamed and chilled. No soggy shrimp here. They were seasoned with Old Bay, served with lemon and cocktail sauce. The cocktail sauce had the right amount of horseradish with a surprise ingredient – chopped cilantro. It added a unique pop of flavor that I really enjoyed. I could have easily had the ½ pound order as the full pound was a bit too much for one person. Totally shareable by several people. And to top off the experience, there was a gentleman on the patio doing a nice job of singing popular songs. A lot more seating inside and another bar. We had a great time and will return, especially for the shrimp!

>>>>Update>>>> We have returned to this establishment due to the great Bar and restaurant staff and the atmosphere. The outdoor patio is wonderful and it’s always a great time. Our first food experience here didn’t go so well but subsequent visits were and continue to be great with the food. The menu is fun and we always find something new to try. We came to have lunch and the wraps and appetizers were great. As always we enjoy the staff as they are kind and attentive even when they are very busy. Give this place a try. Updated photos provided and I am proud to say that we continue to patron this bar and grill and will do so in the future! #fun #goodfood #coldbeer #floridalife Although this is a Browns Backers bar which I enjoyed, the food was at best mediocre. The wings were not fried crunchy at all. As a matter of fact they were so soft and the skin was rubbery. The flavor was good but the wings themselves were practically inedible. The place was so crowded that I didnt even want to send my food back and wait longer. If the wings were crunchy I definitely would have given 5 stars. The bartenders were great and the wait staff was good also. Great place to drink and hang out but the food was a turn off for me and my group.

We have been going here for the past few years for lunch and we have the lunch cards that if you buy 5 lunches, you get the 6th free. I have enough punches for a free lunch. I asked for the lunch specials before we ordered and was told that today's special was a $5 burger. We opted to not go with the only special we were told about. We didn't receive a lunch menu, either. When my co-worker and I went to use the cards, we were told that our meal wasn't on the lunch menu. So, no free lunch. Ok. Well, can you sign the card for another lunch and we'll know next time. Nope, again, the lunch that we got wasn't from the lunch menu. So, we spent $15 (more than what the items probably were on the lunch menu, but I wouldn'tknow because we never got a lunch menu) and you won't sign it!?! I am pretty sure that the last 9 times I provided the card for the signature, wasn't a "lunch menu" item. Then I was told those who singed for the lunch punches, were doing it wrong. No where on these cards does it say "must be from the lunch menu"

I came to this restaurant on the 2/12/2022 at 8pm. The woman who was responsible to get me a table was rude with me, pretending that she did not understand what I told her which was basically that I wanted a table for one. she kept saying ''what'' and ''what'' three times with a bad face pretending that she did not understand it. and when she ''understood'' me, I was speaking in the same tone with her and then she pretended that she understood after three times repeating myself. then I got probably the worst waitress that I have ever had in a while, I do not remember her name, but I think she is Hispanic. First of all I said that I wanted to see the drinks on the menu, then she did exactly like her friend and kept asking me ''what'' and ''what'' 4 times, by the way, she definitely did not want to be working at that restaurant and was pretending that she was not talking to me but with the window when she was saying something. Then I said, I need sometime, then she left the table. After 50 seconds she came back saying ''what do you want'' then I said I need more time, then she left the table and then after 30 seconds she came back again and then I asked what drinks do you have? then she told me only three drinks as if it was their only options and then I asked don't you guys have a diet coke? she said no, then I said ok give me more time, then when she came back I said ok, I changed my mind because you do not have the drink that I wanted and then I left. but the reason why I left was because of her unprofessional behavior with me to pretend that she did not understand what I was telling her, by how she was unprofessional and because she was looking at the window when she was saying something. when someone says that they need time is because they need time and people do not like to be rushed specially in a restaurant but she does not understand that, probably the people who trained her for this profession did not train her very well. if the restaurant has someone like her, a person who does not like her job and does not want to be there, maybe they should fire her or let her go because there are many people who could have been working at her place, good waitresses actually. I tried to contact the management by email, but they pretended that they did not see my email, so I am posting this review. If you can find a good restaurant around find it but avoid this restaurant because it...

Location is obscured by adjacent restaurants and is difficult to locate while driving by on SR78. Sign doesn't pop out among the various others there. At 11.15am parking lot was empty while adjacent restaurants were beginning to fill for lunch cycle. At first we thought they were closed. But we went inside to learn they were open. Waiting for the hostess to come seat us, we waited for about 2 minutes which isn't bad for a busy restaurant. But there was no one and we literally mean no one in the restaurant front or seating areas employee wise. Finally a woman came out from the back and asked how many people were in our party. She almost appeared to be irritated that she was having to seat us.

Another server came to the table promptly and asked for a drink order of 3 waters and lemon, and left to fill it. She was attentive and upbeat and returned to take our orders. Two of our party ordered various wings etc. I had the top of the line 12.99 burger with fries. According to the description in the menu it was an amazing burger.

When the food arrived, chicken wings were OK but not evenly coated with seasoning and sauces. Fries on both orders seemed fresh and cooked ok. My burger was a huge disappointment. A patty the size of a fast food burger was on a bun with sautéed onions and three onion rings fried on top of the patty. It was OK taste wise but no where close to a 13 dollar burger. I have had other local burgers cheaper and rocked leaps and bounds above this burger.

Upon obtaining the check it amounted to 47.00 and change. I tipped our server 10 bucks and upon leaving visited the restroom. It was spotless. I noticed leaving the bar area was not stocked in the display areas of product. And no one had came into the restaurant yet after us.

There seems to be a large investment made to the building, accoutrements, and theme. Shame that the food quality has diminished to the degree it has. This place won't last long unless massive changes are made. Potentially awesome but not...
