A Fun Place, Great Food and A Patio We have passed this place many times and finally stopped in - glad we did. We were promptly seated outside on the covered patio as we requested. This is one large patio that can accommodate many people with a good size bar to sit at. The patio does overlook busy Pine Island Road and road noise is present, especially by those drivers who like to rev their motors knowing there’s a crowd there to impress, but it’s very tolerable. Not unlike most late afternoons in this region, it was hot, but the numerous fans and open sides moved the air making it very comfortable. We arrived about 5:00 and our server told us about their Happy Hour which has dollar off some tap beers and maybe some mixed drink specials that ends at 6:00. Our server made sure I could get in another beer order before HH ended and I appreciated that. I opted for Yuengling Draft for $3.50. My wife chose Unsweetened Iced Tea $2.99. Their food menu is quite extensive, sure to please anyone. We found a Specials card on our table and ordered from that. (Not sure if these were daily, weekly, or seasonal specials.) My wife ordered the Seafood Rice Bowl ($15.99) and I ordered the One Pound Peel and Eat Shrimp ($18.99). The Rice Bowl was a winner! She ordered it as grilled, so sitting atop a bed of seasoned rice were 3 or 4 large shrimp, several Mahi Mahi nuggets, onions and peppers, all grilled with Cajun seasoning. Just a little heat, not too spicy. Both the shrimp and fish were perfectly cooked. I can’t recall if I could get my shrimp warm or cold, but mine were cold and that was fine with me. This was a very generous pound of 20 shrimp that I’ve ever had. These were multi-biters that had been steamed and chilled. No soggy shrimp here. They were seasoned with Old Bay, served with lemon and cocktail sauce. The cocktail sauce had the right amount of horseradish with a surprise ingredient – chopped cilantro. It added a unique pop of flavor that I really enjoyed. I could have easily had the ½ pound order as the full pound was a bit too much for one person. Totally shareable by several people. And to top off the experience, there was a gentleman on the patio doing a nice job of singing popular songs. A lot more seating inside and another bar. We had a great time and will return, especially for the shrimp!

>>>>Update>>>> We have returned to this establishment due to the great Bar and restaurant staff and the atmosphere. The outdoor patio is wonderful and it’s always a great time. Our first food experience here didn’t go so well but subsequent visits were and continue to be great with the food. The menu is fun and we always find something new to try. We came to have lunch and the wraps and appetizers were great. As always we enjoy the staff as they are kind and attentive even when they are very busy. Give this place a try. Updated photos provided and I am proud to say that we continue to patron this bar and grill and will do so in the future! #fun #goodfood #coldbeer #floridalife Although this is a Browns Backers bar which I enjoyed, the food was at best mediocre. The wings were not fried crunchy at all. As a matter of fact they were so soft and the skin was rubbery. The flavor was good but the wings themselves were practically inedible. The place was so crowded that I didnt even want to send my food back and wait longer. If the wings were crunchy I definitely would have given 5 stars. The bartenders were great and the wait staff was good also. Great place to drink and hang out but the food was a turn off for me and my group.

We have been going here for the past few years for lunch and we have the lunch cards that if you buy 5 lunches, you get the 6th free. I have enough punches for a free lunch. I asked for the lunch specials before we ordered and was told that today's special was a $5 burger. We opted to not go with the only special we were told about. We didn't receive a lunch menu, either. When my co-worker and I went to use the cards, we were told that our meal wasn't on the lunch menu. So, no free lunch. Ok. Well, can you sign the card for another lunch and we'll know next time. Nope, again, the lunch that we got wasn't from the lunch menu. So, we spent $15 (more than what the items probably were on the lunch menu, but I wouldn'tknow because we never got a lunch menu) and you won't sign it!?! I am pretty sure that the last 9 times I provided the card for the signature, wasn't a "lunch menu" item. Then I was told those who singed for the lunch punches, were doing it wrong. No where on these cards does it say "must be from the lunch menu"

Tourist trappy decor and it seemed none of the food served was fresh...frozen or canned and just reheated or fried. They always have lots of patrons, so we thought we try it...will not come back...Iced Tea was weak and flavorless...appetizers were fried to death and calamari too salty and thickly breaded...almost every side was French fries with different toppings so I had two sides of corn 🌽 thinking I'd get corn cobs but no...frozen corn kernals...with their butter, corn was good lol...my fish was a thick filet, but breading tells me it was frozen many years ago and deeped fried just for me! My companion had fish tacos 🌮 which looked good, but again the fish breaded and looked like a large fish stick from the freezer...I have no idea why anyone would come back unless it's just convenient to them or they know the staff...staff was pleasant and service was quick...

Came here with a friend to take advantage of some Happy Hour Deals. They have half off of appetizers from 3-7 on Mondays. I started off with chips and salsa, which tasted good. I then had the Coconut Shrimp (excellent with the dipping sauce) with the garlic parmesan broccoli (fantastic) and yellow rice. The yellow rice was edible, but didn't taste fresh. I never had Rum Cake before, so I had that for dessert. Too sweet for my liking. I have nothing to compare it to, so I can't say whether or not it was a bad version of it or not. For there being 4 people at the bar (2 being me and my friend) and 1 person at a nearby table, the service was a bit slow. When we did get serviced, the bartenders were pretty nice and attentive. Didn't make us wait after we ordered, just took some time for them to come over so we could order. All in all, a good experience. I'll be back.

The food here was really good. We went on taco Tuesday, and the amount of meat you get on your taco is fulfilling. The service was a bit slow and didn't check on us much. Other than that, the food and the drinks were really good. We'll definitely go back soon.
