I was hoping for a great breakfast, It was OK, but not worth the amount spent. I appreciate the fresh, locally produced concept. The execution was mismatched. Bread was great but made for poor French toast, too hard even after soaking in the milk and eggs. Coupled with cold syrup, it made it a poor unappetizing course. We ordered a side of bacon, out standing 2 pieces, and outstanding price as well. (Best part of the meal, however). Skillet was a bit of a layered jumble, flavor was good overall, and was served hot! Bonus! Advertising meat but was not very present in the mix might have been doused in the melted cheese in fairness. The bottom layer of the skillet was a bit burned and had too much oil as well. Fries used as a substitute breakfast potato, interesting choice, not sure I will gravitate toward this dish again. Bottom line: I had to flag someone down for unremarkable coffee refills and had to ask for salt and pepper (not on the table). Bacon, yes, fresh vegetables, yes, bulk food adjoining store, yes. All day breakfast, yes, just change the fair to basics served well, and hot, your place will be flooded with customers, with those changes, there is no all day breakfast served well within 50 miles. Ponder that. I sincerely try to be honest and helpful. All the best have a...
Read moreWe've been fans of this farm to table restaurant and locally sourced food market for a couple years now. We eagerly followed their move from their previous location known as Spanish Street Farmacy to their new Green's Garden location on Main Street. We finally made it over for lunch at their new location and it's still got the same character and feel that we came to love at the old location. Sometimes parking downtown can be a little tricky but they're conveniently located next to a public parking lot so you don't have to walk far. I highly recommend the Blue Plate specials. It's good food, good variety, and good portions for the money. While they don't offer gluten-free buns/bread for their sandwiches, we've always been able to find gluten-free options on their menu and they've always been accommodating in answering any questions about ingredients. Be sure to ask about their grocery boxes. We've enjoyed getting local seasonal foods in our monthly box. Overall...
Read moreThis is my first time visiting the new locating. When walking in it definetly seemed clunky for lack of a better descriptor. It is set up kind of like a food court with multiple outlets under thier own brand comming out if the back "commissary kitchen". I was a little surprised on the prices but I do know they charge for the ingredients which are farm fresh, but paying $24 for a Burger and fries without a beverage seemed a little high for this market. There is no table side service so im never sure if I should tip as they dont refill drinks or bus your table afterwards. I do love the access to specialty meats and ingredients which is primarily the only reason we go. With the food being lack luster and over priced.. im not going for the food. Also please clean the cobwebs.. there were alot on the decorations above the seating including the fake plants. I do wish this business well and hope to be editing this review...
