I arrived in the drive thru and was asked to wait. I was the only customer there. After waiting several minutes to order, a car arrived in the other lane and was able to give there order and pull through. I was still asked to wait. Finally, I placed my order of 4 hash browns and then was still asked to wait. I just proceeded to pull around to the window. After getting to the window, I paid and was asked to pull up to wait. At this time I stated that I just wanted to wait at the window and get my 4 hash browns because the person who arrived her AFTER me was able to order and get their food and leave. I was told I had to move forward because the people behind me didn't deserve to wait, although they had JUST arrived and had not been told to wait several times as did I. An employee named Amanda came to the window and informed me she was going to give me my money back and I could go somewhere else. I never asked for my money back just stated I would rather wait at the window for my small order that does not take long. Yet, they proceeded to hand me my money back and told me to leave. They do not deserve the business by on the other hand maybe that is the plan to be so rude maybe people will not continue to come back to this mcdonalds. I am nurse and I deal with public people everyday , at our facility we welcome the public people that is job security . If people dont want to come to your Mcdonalds it is because you are rude and are getting paid to be rude . That is the opposite that Mr. Mcdonald had in mind when he planned his business . Read moreThe kingshighway/mount auburn location in cape Girardeau Missouri has POOR customer service. I ordered my food at 8:23pm. We pay at window 1. And at window 2 we get part of our food (a happy meal) but not our two orders of medium fries. The lady comes back a few minutes later and starts to hand me a bag but hesitates, I asked if they were our medium fries. She admits to overlooking them and they’d have to make more. She asked us to pull to window 3 to wait for them, stating they’d take a couple minutes. We pull forward and wait….and wait….and wait. I call the building no answer, I know on the window and no one’s comes. They evidently see us and she calls to come one to get two medium fries and it still takes several minutes for us to get them. Long story short from order to leaving, it took 26 minutes for two orders of fries. They are lucky my son wasn’t with me or I wouldn’t have been as reserved. I will be calling again tomorrow to speak with managment as I know already they won’t answer the phone tonight. Did I forget to mention there was no one else in line when I pulled to window 2 or 3. Read morePlaced a mobile order online about an hour and 45 minutes before I picked up the order at the store once I got to the store I went through the drive-through. Nobody answered on the mic so I went ahead and pulled forward. I proceeded to go to the front window And the lady asked me if I stopped at the window. I told her no because nobody was at the microphone when I pulled up and waited there for about 5 to 10 minutes then she proceeded to say why didn’t you just stop at the window and wait I said because there was nobody at the mic when we pulled up and waited about five minutes Then we proceeded to wait for another 20 minutes on our food that we had placed an hour and 45 minutes ago so time passes we get our food we end up bringing it all the way back home and we go to eat the food and one there’s either no pickles on it or no ketchup on it or it’s just the hamburger and a bun or they are extremely burnt. Also when we got to the point where I had told them why we were there The lady proceeded to barely walk around the corner, acting like she was doing something and she was on her phone for a good five minutes.
