On August 30, 2025, while traveling from northwest Tennessee to Six Flags St. Louis with my daughters, I placed an order through the app for pickup at the 701 Broadway, Cape Girardeau, MO location. Upon arrival, only one employee was working, and her behavior was concerning; she appeared to be under the influence of drugs, struggling to process the order, mishandling food products, and not responding coherently to a newly arrived second employee. The second employee, who stated she was new, was unable to cancel my order and said she needed to contact a manager. I left my name and contact information, requesting a cancellation.
After a week with no contact, I called the store. The manager I spoke with confirmed she was aware of the situation but did not offer a resolution at that time. She stated she needed to speak with the owner and would call me back. After another week passed without a return call, I reached out again, September 22nd. The manager informed me that the owner stated it was too late to reverse the charge unless I came to the store in person. This is not feasible, as the store is a 1.5-hour drive each way for me.
The store management failed to cancel the order in a timely manner and has made no attempt to contact me or offer a reasonable resolution beyond an in-person visit. I am still out $32.01 for an order I never received due to the circumstances at the store.
I have delayed writing a review hopping the store management or owner would resolve this issue. I've also contacted Subway Support through the website and have only received, what seemed to be, an automated response saying the issues has been resolved. I would NOT recommend...
Read moreI went to go to Subway to order my usual I came across a different staff which was not showing pleasant customer service so I still went on ahead and ordered my sandwich as the lady was fixing my sandwich she took her hand and she had rubbed her nose at this point I was disgusted I have posted and told her that I work in food service and I get that you have gloves on but still you are touching my food and I don't want the sandwich she looked at me strange and she said well I can just change my gloves I said but the germs from your face is on my food she still look like she had an attitude so I said you know what don't worry about that I said I was just getting a drink the woman walked off while I was talking and went to the back very unprofessional an not clean that is not a good look for Subway when your staff can do that to customers her name is Danny I guess that's the name that she gave me management may not be in...
Read moreI'll make sure to never eat here again... my boyfriend and I received our sandwiches burnt and smokey tasting(didn't even eat half), called them the next morning because they were closed by the time I was home and nobody answered so I just called the next morning, I tell the lady that answered what was wrong and the lady even responds back that she noticed our food looked a little burnt and that the toaster was smokey. After all that she tells me I can come have my sandwiches replaced and I told her I would just like my money back , she then tells me she has to contact her gm, no big deal but also said she'd contact me back... 5 hours later and I have yet heard...
