One good thing to come out of Ayden’s journey with Severe Aplastic Anemia/Bone Marrow Failure is the many friends we’ve made along the way.
Since his doctor’s haven’t released him to return to school in person Ayden has been pretty bored.
His Uncle Charlie had him start researching some coins from a collection he had. Ayden has really gotten into coin collecting.
During our frequent travels to and from St. Jude Memphis we stumbled upon a true coin shop. We visit each time we are traveling to Memphis now and Ayden takes his list of the coins he’s needing for his collection.
Mike the owner of River City Coin and Jewelry in Cape Girardeau, MO has become one of those friends we’ve made along the way.
He’s so knowledgeable of coins, takes the time to answer our questions, and always gives a fair/honest price. We love visiting and chatting with him.
