We ordered an appetizer and a pitcher of margaritas on the rocks. The margarita tasted very sour with hardly any tequila. Therefore, we ordered a second pitcher of raspberry margarita since they were out of strawberry. It was also lacking any taste of tequila. My guest and I did not complain but when we got the bill, each pitcher was almost $30. Our bill was over $70 for two pitchers of juice and a nacho appetizer. Our server never cleared our table or offered to refill our glass of water. She was more worried about us paying the bill. Also the glass I was given had someone’s lip stain on it. I never give a bad review. It’s sad to see this place declining. It’s been one of my favorites for years. We were also sitting on the deck and a person was beating on the fence wanting to know if we could give him a cigarette or any spare change. Also there are meters in the parking lot. When I asked the young man at the door if I had to feed the meter he said yes. I spent 10 minutes trying to put quarters in a machine that...
Read more5 stars for the service and atmosphere and that's the only good part. I just wasted $65 hoping to eat Mexican food but instead we saw a bar menu with queso and wanna be fajitas. The veggies were precooked (not even freshly sauteed) and the steak was by far the worst meat I've ever tasted. It tasted like gyro meat and spam had a baby and named it Tres hombre fajitas. The kids ordered Dino nuggets and I don't know how you can mess those up but mission accomplished! I order the cheese fries and again... disappointed in the (steak) gyro spam on top. I understand how difficult it us to be profitable in this economic climate but please just raise the price of your menu and design a menu that leaves ppl feeling satisfied. I read the reviews after I tasted this disaster of a lunch so you know im not the only one feeling this way when they leave. Thus is my 1st bad review I've ever posted but I couldn't let it go. the owner should be ashamed of this food and please listen to the many bad reviews you have and quit serving...
Read moreRead moreLee Nudleman was the "Third" hombre and was in charge of the kitchen. Gary ran the bar (and the white stuff ;]) and Bert pretty much ran the business part I guess u could say. Lee was a killer cook and everything was pretty much hand made. The re-fried beans, the salsa, even the tortilla chips were all prepared in the kitchen. I should know, I prepped half of it. We shredded, sliced, diced, fried, and baked everything in the relatively small kitchen. Lee made a flan that was incredible :. Things changed after he left several years ago though. They still have a great bar (best margarita around) and adequate food. Some stuff is still excellent (some of their nacho dishes and the hot wings for sure) but ALL of their food was excellent back then. I remember the salsa the most because I made that every day and, yes, that has changed also, albeit slightly. There is just something cheaper tasting about it (and the tortilla chips). Overall, I would still probably give...
