Eastgate Shopping Center — Local services in Carbondale

Creepy and kinda ugly part of Carbondale. I wouldn't walk around there at night. The homeless tend to take refugee in bushes. The mall has a five or six stores. The mall has a loan shark and a slot machine place. If you do business with the loan shark they will send you mail for ten years straight every month and call you a few times a year for a business invitation. Creepy, is getting a fake check on the mail with your name on it. Another place is the book store where last time I went it was like buying used books at new book prices. Ashley's has nice expensive furniture not really fitting to the college community. They lacked bed frames and the ones they could order for 80 bucks at Wal Mart they wanted twice that. A wonderful hometown feel . The people were nice at the stores and there was a wide variety of places to shop. Although the parking could be a little more abundance.
