I'm pretty much done with this place. A few weeks ago I decided to buy a new product. They had a small, barely visible sales tag which indicated the product was about $10.99 The product was a four pack of a new flavor of founders beer. I was charged $37. I wasn't angry. Didn't overreact. Simply told the cashier that they had a sign in the back with a different price for this product. I was given an attitude and hostility in response. I even stated "Don't worry, I'm still going to buy the product. I just wanted to let you know." The cashier derailed me, talked over me, interrupted me about the signs on the door that stated prices were subject to change at any time without notice.
I understand things will not always be perfect, but we're talking about a difference between $10.99 and $37.
Today I went in to buy my normal six pack. They only had one left on the shelf with 5 bottles in it. I could have gotten a full one from the cooler, but I wasn't planning on being home for another 8 hours so a cold six pack would just get skunked. Cashier gave me a hard time about it, and I was actually charged more money to buy the 5 beers instead of a full six pack. I feel that's pretty unfair.
And given the general nature of how this seriously (or lack thereof) they took the pandemic of which I have another negative experience with them, I'm just about done...
Read morePRICES are not as posted! So you really have no idea what anything costs and they post the sign “Prices subject to change without notice.” (see photo), which evidently means even the posted prices with the product are not correct. The WhiteClaw was listed as $36.79 a case (see photo) and the actual price at the register was a $39.12.
Some people have said they are the cheapest price around, but did they use the shelf price or the register price? Does this also mean that the banners outside to bring people in are also different than the actual price? Don’t worry, they have a sign?
Note: The reason to not price each item in a store was to have the correct price on the shelf that attached the register. Most legitimate businesses give you one item free if the price on the shelf doesn’t match the register. They...
Read moreVast variety of selection. Nevertheless, the sales personnel including the owner exhibit conspicuous and profound discomfort when someone of a 'color' walks into the shop. The height of this arbitrary treatment is so evident that I've walked into the store suited and booted; yet, I'm not greeted or even thanked when I arrive or depart from the counter while right in front of my eyes, literally in my presence, people before and after me are greeted and thanked. It's so hurtful that even though the store is conveniently located, I've started to browse alternative stores. I've started to discourage people from having business with this establishment as well. By the way, I'm a...
