Do NOT go to this store! If you want a cellphone on prepaid go to another boost mobile or another carrier.
Now let's get to the reason why. I was shopping around for a new phone and I went to the boost mobile store. So I come in and explain that I want to switch. Jasmine the store representative didn't anounce her name or make me feel excited to switch. So I asked for the free phone deal. Mind you I had a iPhone 7 so she also didn't provide me with any other options knowing that I had a top of the line phone. So I purchased the phone and she didn't tell me about a 25 dollar restocking fee. She put insurance on my phone without my permission. I had to ask what her name was myself. So the next day I noticed that my phone's keyboard isn't working well. So I come in to exchange it for another. She explains that it is a 25 dollar restocking fee and I told her well you didn't tell me that in the begining. Basically having an attitude with me throughout the exchange. So I asked for other options. I wanted to purchase a 2 year old ZTE. Boost and she was adamant about not giving me the phone I wanted and also told me that I could not exchange my phone for anything else if it broke. So I asked her so if it doesn't come on I can't get another phone? And she said that's right. Needless to say I bought the Samsung j7. I am happy with this phone but I wish that she told me about it when I first came in. Now considering that she told me that I couldn't return my new phone she didn't offer me a case or screen protector nor did she say thank you for coming in and joining boost. Now 2 days later I notice that my phone isn't sending messages or calls. I called into the boost customer service and they told me that it was the store that canceled my line and that the store would have to fix it. I then had to have them restore my line but the data and calling was off until I got into the store. So I paid 241 already to the store when I could have gotten a phone I wanted in the first place. So Jasmine calls customer service and argues with the supervisor at the call center the same way she was being nasty to me. Needless to say in the end my service was turned back on. And afterward she shoves the receipts in the air guesturing for me to leave. Doesn't apologize she just says that my account should be active in ten minutes. So I sit down and wait and she says you are good to go. And I said excuse me? She said your account should be active so turn your phone off can back on. I explained to her I'm going to wait the ten minutes and then leave. Then she continued helping other customers. No one deserves to have bad customer service when it comes to picking a phone that is going to be your lifeline. A phone that you would have for a couple years. If you want boost service go to another store. Or this sales rep should be fired and another person with customer service...
Read moreI went to the same Carlisle office 3 days ago, as my current phone got into water and I needed to replace it. The same male employee mentioned by another person was there. I asked about replacing my phone, he told me I was eligible for an "upgrade" (which I did not want, I am happy with my current phone, just wanted it replaced and my info carried over) and told me my current plan of $50.00 per month would now be $99.00!!! I said "NO! I'll go somewhere else, and took my phone back!" Went to ANOTHER Boost store close to where I work, and that associate was great, however.... she was only able to get my gmail on the new phone as my old phone has a 'blacked-out" screen so you cannot see anything on it! So here I am with a new phone, no files, no contacts, basically just email, and I have already paid my bill...
