On 1/18/25, I placed a pick up order for my family of five. Upon arrival I was waiting with hesitation from the employee at the welcome stand. I stated my name for my order and a lady came forward with our food. I asked, were utensils and syrup in the bags, they confirmed yes. I drove off and prepared my families food for the ride. I quickly realized there were no utensils, so we went back. I walked in and politely asked for 5 utensils. They’re provided them I thanked them and left. As we drive off my children didn’t have syrup for the pancakes. We had four orders of pancakes and only four , halfway filled syrup containers. I went back, this time I waited as five employees, acknowledged me with their eyes, yet continued their conversation back by the kitchen.
After 1 minute of waiting at the door, a gentleman of Hispanic decent asked to help me. I asked for syrup for my order. He was Rude and began to tell me what they normally do or don’t. I paid for four orders of pancakes, and simply wanted my order filled. (Mind you if we ate in, we would’ve had access to syrup) He then disrespected me, luckily for me my husband walked up , as it was taking too long. My husband asked him sternly to just get the syrup. Words were exchanged after he continued his disrespect! The employee, then placed the syrup on the table as if we were less than deserving to be given to in our hand or a hand to hand exchange or even a bag.
I called back to speak to the manager. A non manager answered the phone and I asked again, to speak to the manager. I asked was she the manager, and she then said no I’m not. So she tried to mitigate the call so her peer would not receive the poor customer service feedback.
Might I add this was around 7:45 am so the restaurant wasn’t busy!
This is no way of treating customers and I’m truly sadden about my experience. I solely selected this restaurant based on the customer ratings.
Guess it doesn’t apply to a family with brown skin. The employees are rude, racist and not customer centered!!!
This was the location...

Update 1/13: Went back here after not being here for 2 years due to the pandemic. I'm glad to say that the service here is still as phenomenal as I remember.
My sister and I had the lovely chance to order both the Turkey Benedict and Nirvana Pancakes for today's visit. I was hesitant at first, due to only liking my eggs being scrambled. But, the way they seasoned the Benedict as it was placed on top of turkey sausage patty with some kind of toasted English muffin was so scrumptious that I couldn't have enough of the it. It was complimented with a side of hash brown: crispy and crunch, just the way I like it.
Don't get me started with the Nirvana Pancakes; they are something out of this world. Banana, blueberry (with a side of fresh blueberries), and chocolate chip pancakes with a side of whip cream, whipped butter, and nice hot syrup. All three pancakes not empowering the other as their flavors compliment with each other. From what I can see, thanks to the way they cook the pancakes it truly lets you savor the different flavors you'll be enjoying.
Furthermore, this visit wouldn't have not been possible thanks to the friendliest and amazing server we had: Jen. Her enthusiasm and attitude made this visit memorable and hope you get to have her as your server on your visit.
Thank you and hope to come...
Read moreThis place is VERY Busy on the weekends. It is so worth the wait. We were a large party, almost half the wait line. The staff here quickly put tables together. As soon as we were seated someone ask for beverage, and how many waters. The waters came quickly and on its heel a waiter ask if we were ready to order. Some of us were ready but two were not. Then a waiter brought coffee for the two coffee drinkers and brought the decafe coffee drinker a coaster to signify DeCafe. How cool is that. Most of us had various pancake/crepe/waffles and ,of course, Dutch Baby. My Uncle and Aunt shared a bake Omelette and when it arrived the server brought an extra Dish. My grandfather and my Great Grandmother also ask for an extra plate so they could share each other's Waffle And Dutch Baby, which came right away. Service was The Greatest. Water glasses and coffee were refilled by a great serving staff. My Aunt was completely floored by the service. She said she would come the 200 mile Every day just to enjoy the service!!!!! The Baked Omelette was the first time I tried it. It was like a quiche without the crust...a Big Fat overstuffed quiche. My sister was the only who did not finish her plate. We all were on the Clean Plate Train. Thank you for your Great Food and equally Great...
