Bovaconti Coffee — Restaurant in Carmel

Everything is nice except for the floor plan! The place could have had a complete interior plan and it could have had more seats ! I went along with my elder Mom , trying to use the back door, but unfortunately the slob of the driveway to get to the coffee shop is very high , so for someone like my Mom who had a demure fracture , it was impossible !!! Now I managed to park somewhere else and we entered to find that the place was full , which is great but the problem is that there is no smart use for the space , the have long L shape seat and small round tables which are fully occupied by students , each one of them has a place for their bags seated either on the chairs or on the seat this along with a long I land with couple of stools where it’s impossible for old or disabled people to use ! I stayed there looking for a place along with my Mom who is using a walker and tried to find a place ! I needed up sharing the most ridicules way of seated I have ever had along with my elder Mom !!!!! Plenty of space and poor planing . Please consider replanting the place if you think you are fine with elder people to visit your place ! Other than that everything is nice...

I knew something was going in this space so I’m so happy it was a cafe!! My boyfriend and I live at Old Town and we love finding new places to try. We got up this morning and decided to go try this coffee shop. Let me just say I am so impressed with this place. We both had a coffee I had the the Tiger Chai I wish I remembered what it was called. My boyfriend had a mocha both options amazing. We also had just a croissant also amazing. The coffee was absolutely perfect. I knew it was going to be busy walking in it’s new and who doesn’t love going to a cafe in the morning time. To be expected a place that is this good is a little more busy. We will be back! It’s awesome to see a place so busy full of people who come out to support to me this is all that matters. The wait time went so fast their staff really move fast! I love the space - finally a high end coffee shop in downtown Carmel! It’s very beautiful inside. I get the Spanish latte and always a chocolate croissant. I deducted rating for service because if I am dining in, then I don’t want a to go cup. It ruins part of the experience. If I am able to sit and enjoy a coffee I want a dine in cup and I want to see the design they make in the froth on top. It’s not everyday that I get the time to enjoy that. I’ve only been asked once if I’m dining in and that was the only time I got a regular cup. The second time they didn’t ask me if I was dining in or to go and they gave me a to go cup. I hate to say but I asked if they could remake it. The last time I came in, same thing. I don’t want the responsibility to always be on me to tell them “hey!!!!
