Good Pizza, lackluster service
First impressions: when I walked in the door. Nobody greeted me. On a sunday night, there were about 10 tables occupied in the restaurant, and there were 5 people, including me just waiting to order. The staff were all running around frantically trying to keep up with phone orders, customers already dining, and new customers placing orders. It did not appear like anyone was managing, expediting or coordinating orders. I have worked in several restaurants, so I know how it works, and it appeared to be very disorganized.
The weird thing was that rather than look at the customers, the cashier was busily banging away at the cash register, and without making eye contact kept shouting out “I can help whoever is next.” Well, it’s a queue, so it’s rather obvious who is next: all of us waiting in line.
Ordering: You order like you do in any fast food restaurant.
15 minutes later, I got my pizzas. Again, no acknowledgement, thank you for coming, etc. “Here’s your pizza.” Wow, I’m overwhelmed with customer service...
Bottom line: The pizza was good. No problems there, but the experience was awkward. I felt like an imposition, not welcomed like a customer should be.
Blaze, just down the street, has great pizza and is way quicker, and they have mobile ordering. And they say hello.
Topper’s, also just down the street, has food pizza, and great customer service. Noble Roman’s might want to take note that service is key in a...

Read moreNoble Romans has been one of my favorite, all-time favorite pizza restaurants! The Noble Romans on Main Street in Carmel is definitely my favorite. One of the best experiences of eating at this place is two of it’s employees. Santiago, who I’ve known for a while, and is a church friend, is an amazing success story! He is now one of the managers and the first full-time, salaried managers at a Noble Roman’s. I am so very proud of him and honored to call him friend. He is amazing! The second person is Al, the GM, who I just met, but after talking with him for a while, he is definitely the type of man that I would call a friend, and I do not say that lightly. I am very selective as to who I call a friend and who I call an acquaintance. Al spoke very highly of his colleague, Santiago. Through our conversation, it was evident the caliber of man and GM that he is. Noble Romans is truly blessed to have both of these gentlemen, this Dynamic Duo, on their team. I highly recommend the Carnel Noble Romans to all of you. Having a chance to meet and interact with either of these two gentlemen would...
