Food: The food is delicious however like most buffets it is best to go during the lunch or dinner hour. Any time in between the food can get stale because it doesn't seem to get switched out as much, however if you ask they will switch it out. The desserts are questionable sometimes there good but I tend to stay away from eating them due to the taste. The Jello on the other hand is great. The texture of the soft server ice cream is kind of off. It is still good but could be better.
Service: As mentioned in another review the women who clears off the tables is extremely friendly and the people at the front sometimes show expressions but other times don't. The owner(think he is at-least) is always there, never talks though. Other then that great service. If you ask for fresh rice for example, they tend to quickly switch it out.
Dinning Room: The dinning is in bad shape to say the least. The booths have tape on the seats, the walls have tape, to keep the wall paper from coming off. The booth's tables are a reach. And a word of warning Never put your hand under the table you will regret it, the tables tend to be very sticky underneath. Top side however are clean. [Update: 10.25.16] They got rid of all the booths on the second floor, looks a feels more comfortable.
Though the dinning room is in bad shape don't let it discourage you from going. The food is delicious. I brought up the dinning room just because I think it needs to be renovated or cleaned up a bit. I love this restaurant and I will always...
Read moreI am a firm believer that everyone should try things once for themself as every experience is different, however I thought I’d share mine. The food was overall average, a few things they had out fresh and some other items were very dry and old. During our dine in experience I watched an employee move food around in the pans and take food or liquid out of one pan and switch it to another one on the buffet. A little concerning for those worried about cross contamination. At one point in our dine In experience the staff yelled quite loudly at one another. Not just your typical calling out orders for refill but loud enough to startle the patrons next to us. For the majority of our meal our plates sat at our table which we don’t usually have an issue with , but then a server came over and grumpily just pointed at the dishes on our table. We handed them to him and thanked him for doing so, he remained silent. Could be due to language barrier? Maybe he had a rough day, we are understanding of that and we’re still grateful he had taken our dishes. Overall we probably wouldn’t drive out of our way to eat here but again believe everyone should try and experience for themself. This is in no way intended to be a bashing review just a share on our experience with...
Read moreMy husband and I arrived for a late lunch on a weekend. We had been excited to try this place. We waited in line with about 8 other people for awhile before someone finally came to let us pay. The restaurant was busy, but the atmosphere was oppressive; even the other customers seemed indifferent. We got water (there was no ice), which tasted chlorinated and truly disgusting. We spit that out back into our cups feeling that it didn’t even taste safe to drink. We should have left right then. The restaurant was dirty. The food was stale, lukewarm, and unappetizing. We ended up leaving after our first plates (which we didn’t even finish after trying a bit of all of the different things that we selected), feeling uneasy, and decided that it wasn’t worth it even if we had to absorb the cost. We decided to grab food elsewhere and hoped that we didn’t get food poisoning from the little that we did eat (luckily we did not).
It really felt like the owners and staff just didn’t even care. We know that we aren’t looking for the highest quality food when we go to a Chinese buffet, but even compared to similar buffets and takeout joints, this one still rates incredibly low. No way we would...
