As much as I would love to give this place four or five stars, I cannot. From the time it opened, every time I went there, I had issues. So last night I placed an order through their app. They had a $20 meal special, which I ordered for my family. When I arrived, I witnessed one of their employees getting very upset because something happened to their fryers. At this point I had already announced my arrival and was patiently waiting for my order. After witnessing the fryers go down, I witnessed the downfall that came with that. I watched one of the people behind the counter state to another employee that they didn't have enough ready product to complete my particular order. I watched him say that to another employee and yet no one said a word to me. So about five minutes later, another employee, who obviously didn't know how the situation, told me that they could only complete my order. I asked, what can they do to remedy the situation and make it right. She shrugged her shoulders. Then a manager stepped in and asked what was going on and I explained. I told him if they didn't have certain things that I ordered that I would be happy with an even exchange for another product. Basically I was missing three of their chicken sandwiches with my order. He ended up offering an extra eight piece chicken in exchange, which I accepted. They made up for their shortfall, but several customers who had ordered via doordash or their app didn't get what they ordered and paid for. These kinda problems seem to happen quite frequently here as it was the first time I showed up and they were lacking certain menu items due to one or more problems. I hope they can get things more organized so that other customers don't have the same kind of experiences. I do give the manager from last night props for making my order more than right with what the store had to offer...
Read moreThe cashier was VERY polite & courteous. Everything else about the experienced sucked. We waited and waited as five separate orders came in, for their food & left after we ordered, paid & stood nearby to wait. I don’t know if all the staff noticed & ignored me or didn’t care, or just didn’t realize I had been waiting for so long. I had my toddler daughter I was corralling & trying to keep busy so I didn’t even realize that it was 27 minutes later. I was standing about ten feet from the register all this time making eye contact with all the employees & manager as they took & filled the subsequent five orders after ours.
I walked up to the register & the girl (possibly the manager) took my receipt, looked at what we ordered & the time stamp & told me the spicy tenders had another three minutes to cook.
Most of our food was sitting in boxes on the warming shelves behind the counter all this time...I guess they didn’t make the tenders or something, or they gave them to someone else. The girl offered me an apple pie for our trouble, which I declined.
The person four orders behind me ordered a large bucket or whatever of chicken, they told him it would be about 15 minutes so they offered him a chicken leg for the wait.
To sum up: we ordered at 6:36 & we sat down with enough food for an adult & a two year old at 7:13.
Once we sat down I noticed one of the pieces of chicken they included in my four piece was about the size of my thumb. I’m really patient & even keel so I wasn’t going to make a scene in a Popeye’s about some chicken & beans/rice.
I would complain to the manager but we’re about to move out of state & I doubt the staff cares what I think. I gave them two stars because their chicken is still...
Read moreThis Has to be hands-down the worst fast food restaurant I have ever experienced in my life and I just recently got to know about it and went and had it about four months ago and the food was great now every time I go there there is nobody answering the drive-through there’s maybe two or three people outside smoking there’s people inside not answering me is the drive-through once you set your order or you sit outside in the drive-through for several minutes you call the store inside no one answers and then you arrive there and then you order chicken and then they say they have no chicken this is happened three times to me and many other people I know who used to go there so I guess many of us are not going to go there any longer unless they either close this place should be unfortunate I just think you need new hiring people there that maybe Cara little bit better because the staff is pretty rudeI told them I had to report this to court which I did not but it’s going to do anything but someone needs to take control of the Carmel Indiana Popeyes and do something with management and with staff and get it going because it’s gone and it’s just not a place I can go there anymore because I’ve never had customer service that was so bad in my entire life and believe me I’ve had some pretty bad customer service but this tops it all please get it fixed get those people out get new people and help the community hire people that have better customer service skills that know what they’re doing that semi care about their job do...
