Penn Station East Coast Subs — Restaurant in Carmel

Penn Station is a chain restaurant with personalized style. Basically everything on the menu is customize-able or you can just make up a sandwich and they'll make it. This location is a block from where I work and I go here at least 2-4 times per month for lunch/dinner during work.

If you call in an order they will have it ready in about 10 minutes, but you will have to wait for them to make the fries fresh when you arrive which takes about 5 minutes. I am fine with that because Penn Stations "Fresh Cut" fries are about the best french fries except made at home. Honestly, their fries taste just about the same as when my mother would make french fries with dinner when I was a kid.

Because of the way you order your food, the sandwiches are made fresh when you order. If you are eating in, it only takes about 10 minutes to get a fresh sandwich and fries.

My favorite on the menu is the grilled artichoke sandwich with chicken added. But, basically every sandwich is great.

If you like lemonade, give theirs a try--they make it fresh from fresh squeezed lemons.

My only complaint I can think of is that from time-to-time the tables are not clean. And, usually as I notice this fact, they have someone going around cleaning soon after. I get it, when they are busy the staff is behind the counter getting food ready for the customers.

Overall, this place provides a great experience for my lunch. They have fantastic fries and great sandwiches. Everything is fresh and I always look forward to days when I choose to go to Penn...

Went to location today Carmel Indiana Rangeline Road. For the buy one get one after Pacers win. After waiting in line old guy cashier said I had to have a coupon. I had checked website this morning before driving to location and it did not show any coupon necessary. Manager comes and is very snotty and points to the front of store and says you got to follow the instructions. And walked off. It appears she had zero interest in providing help. We walked in front of store did not see instructions so had to go back and ask again. Then she said go outside. There is a poster on window. It states that by 10:00 a.m. you have to text BOGO to receive a buy one get one free coupon. Sounds like an awful lot to go through to drive to the store only to find out that you need a coupon, and then you can only get the coupon if you have responded before 10:00 a.m.. I feel a lot of people have gone to the store thinking they were going to get an offer that they didn't receive. Additionally, being as I looked at the website and it made no indication of texting a code to any sort of number it would only be possible to find that out by standing in front of the store and looking at the window. Looking at the store hours on the store now, and the store opens at 10:30 a.m. I don't think this is a very good promotion, and we are not eating here. I would visited this penn station once on my work break and this penn station made me fall in love with penn station again. The sandwich was cooked perfectly and I asked for heavy on the mayo and they put on just the right amount on every time😍. I even tried going to other penn stations like the one on 10th and shadeland, the one in Ripple and the one in Castleton, but none could even come close to the tatse. Their sandwiches aren't super salty like the other Penn Stations seem to be. Every cook I had cooked the sandwiches perfectly and the fries were hot. They mostly seemed very understaffed. I usually only see two workers mostly working but they always treated me very well. I would order ahead to give them time to put a lil extra love into my sandwich. Then when I arrived, I would go next door to flying cupcake 🧁 😋 to enjoy a strawberry 🍓 🧁 (which are amazing 👏 👏 best ones in the city hands down) just to give them a lil extra time on my sandwich. Ur not living life till u had both of these treats.
