YOU WANT TO EAT HERE. 10/10 1st time eating here, but definitely won't be our last time. LITERALLY EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING --- food, drinks, service, waitress, atmosphere, vibe. To start out, the waitress was fantastic! She was so fun, kind, friendly, helpful, + knowledgeable about the menu and patient. She truly went above and beyond for us. Our daughter brought her doll in with her, and she got her a booster seat for her doll and made her entire DAY! We tried several different drinks. My husband got a few bloody mary's & they were perfect. They were the ones that come all fancy w/ extras on top. He said it was definitely one of the best bloody marys he has had. I had an iced coffee & added vanilla + caramel syrup to it w/ cream. It was very good, great flavor & not bitter. I also had the gooey butter latte, which was AMAZING. It comes with a tiny gooey butter cookie and OMG mouth waters thinking about it. Our waitress also made our daughter one minus the espresso, so she could feel special & have a drink to match her momma (me). We all orders the Rosie Style breakfast. It comes with 2 fresh eggs, a choice of meat, biscuit or toast, country potatoes, and a pancake or French toast. I had 2 eggs Sunnyside up, ham & ordered a side of bacon, white toast (which they make, so good!), country potatoes and French toast. The French toast was literally the BEST I've ever had, the perfect crisp on the outside with a soft inside literal perfection. The bacon was also cooked perfectly, not too chewy but not too crispy. The toast was also so so good. You can tell it is homemade bread. The country potatoes and ham were both perfectly seasoned and cooked. My daughter had fried eggs, bacon, a biscuit, and added bananas and strawberries to her pancake. She raved about all of her food as well. My husband had scrambled eggs, bacon, biscuit, and pancake. Both had the yummy country potatoes as well. My husband and daughter ordered a side of sausage gravy for their biscuit, and like everything else, it was DELICIOUS. They offer lots and lots of bakery options. We bought and took home several of the gooey butter cookies. Make sure and try this place out for brunch!!! You won't regret it or be disappointed.

We ordered a cake from this restaurant for my grandparents’ anniversary, and unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. After cutting and serving the cake to eight people, we discovered hair in two separate slices. The cake itself was also very dry and lacked flavor, but after finding the hair, I couldn’t eat any more. We returned the remaining portion of the cake to the restaurant, only to be met with a rude and unprofessional hostess. She argued with us over a few pieces being missing—even after we explained that the cake had been served before we found the hair. After showing them photos and returning what was left of the cake, they only agreed to refund half the cost, and only after a frustrating five-minute argument. I would also like to add the hostess even refused to let us speak with a manager and tried to blame the hair on us. I have never once experienced such an unprofessional place of business in my life. This kind of handling is incredibly unprofessional, and after this experience, I would not feel comfortable eating here again. I sincerely hope they take cleanliness and customer service more seriously going forward. I’d also appreciate if the staff could keep their hair out of the food. And before eating here I’d consider patachou, or first watch. Their food is a lot better and staff is a lot more professional! Thank you!

What a disappointment. I was in the area waiting and decided to get breakfast while waiting on a someone, saw this place, so I checked it out. I was by myself and got sat at a 4 top. The server of the table (Jose named on the bill) acted annoyed and was almost shunning me. (Even though he was at the host stand and agreed to the other server seating me at his table.) Besides getting my drink order and food order and offering one coffee refill, he did not interact with me at all. Even during these interactions, he never made eye contact. The server aside, I got the Rosie Style breakfast (eggs, biscuit, bacon, potatoes, and a pancake) and a regular coffee. The coffee was extremely bitter and somehow, the potatoes, biscuit, and bacon were specifically bitter. It feels as if the money is put into the atmosphere and not the food and customer service. I can’t speak to the lunch menu, but it was a very disappointing experience for breakfast. I’d tread carefully and really consider if the atmosphere or the food matters most in your choice of breakfast out.

On a sunny morning on May 7th I came into Rosie's Carmel based on a recommendation of their delicious gluten free options. Joy! As the gentlemen in front of me was being sat up front, after being asked if he wanted to sit at the counter or table. A blonde middle aged server acknowledged me and didn't offer me a table option. I was quickly escorted to the very back of the establishment up against a wall facing the kitchen. Which I now realize was the worst seat in the place. She turned and left with barely a word. As the realization washed over me. It was a weekday, so lots of great open seating options. ALL of the other customers were up front. Coming from Hawaii, I understand I live in a bubble of kindness and diversity. And, for the first time in over 50 years of sheltered life, I realized what this felt like. As a strong independent women, I thought I would be able to handle being treated like I was less of a person. I would like to say I was strong. But, I wasn't. I decided to leave, and politely said I had changed my mind. The blonde middle aged lady just said "okay" with a don't let the door hit you on the way out attitude. As a broken women for the day, I ended up at Caffe Buondi. They sat me next to a friendly man with a barbell mustache. We had a conversation and he remarked how I had ordered his favorite, a Monica (Vegetarian) Frittata, served in a cast iron skillet. You see he goes there twice a week, so he knows his stuff. I also had great service at RiZE Carmel, they have a great Veggie Omelette, that comes with their house salad,...

I went there with my husband and and a toddler for the breakfast. Before leaving home we had added our name on the online wait-list. When I reached there, hostess told me I was 2nd in the list and so table will be available in 10- 15 mins so I waited there. While I was waiting I saw atleast 3 others getting the table ahead of me. And I was patiently waiting ( my daughter was getting hungry). Meanwhile I also noticed people came after me getting a spot ahead of me , hostess and her colleagues doing something in the system ( I don't know what they did something looked fishy). So I went and asked how long would it take for me to get the table.there was another host at the table now. He said I am 3rd on the list. I asked him how is that possible? I was 2nd and now how come I am third. So he said may be someone who was on the online wait-list walked in so they got the spot - when I told him I had added my name on the online wait-list, he didn't know what to respond. He said he will give us table as soon as possible. Meanwhile other two hostess came they all talked and gave us table immediately!! I am wondering what happened to people who were now ahead of me ?!?

It felt like for no reason we were pushed down in the wait-list ( some sort of discrimination) for no reason

Please respect people's time and it's even more important when kids are waiting for food

Once we got the table, service and...
