Run, don't walk to this made from scratch fresh bakery in Carnegie. They have a good variation of products ranging from pepperoni rolls, strawberry pretzel salad, quick breads such as pumpkin or banana chocolate chip, as well as cookies, cupcakes including Hostess style, danishes and even coffee. They have reduced prices on day old items.
Everything is take out and very reasonably priced. Since refrigerated items are baked fresh without preservatives they do have a short shelf life. Found myself getting the cinnamon coffee cake muffin-literally one of the best coffee cakes I had in a long time.
They do handle special orders if you call ahead. For the best selection it pays to arrive early. They do have extended hours on Fridays and Sats until 4.
Am very pleased with my purchases and looking forward to visiting them again in the...
Read moreI’ve gone several times now and it gets better each time! -The baked goods are FANTASTIC. Nothing is overly sweet. The flavors are really complex and delicious. Better than 85% of the bakeries in PGH, easily. (As good as the other 15%!) -The service is lovely-looks to me to be a grandma, mom, and granddaughter/daughter, who they are teaching customer service. They are friendly, patient, and helpful. -My favs include the oatmeal anything-cookies, bars, etc, the tiramisu-which was priced WELL, and the apple cinnamon bread-which was filled with chunks of apple. I plan to try it all! -It’s also right in the middle of some cool stores and the coffee shop! Park. Get coffee. Hit the bakery, pottery shop, and the gift stores. That’s a...

It's takeout only (no room for any indoor seating) and they're only open till 2 pm - which limits me to the occasional weekend visit due to my own work hours - and parking is on street only, which is often at a premium so be prepared for a possible short walk to get there, but it's WORTH IT. They're...
