9/7/23 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼 McDonalds incident with ignorant black female manager (no teeth) 2107 Joppa rd Parkville Maryland i ordered my food to be picked up by my young nephew YOUR MANAGER WITHOUT ASKING OR TELLING HIM CALLED THE POLICE ON HIM another employee told my nephew she did this. My nephew asked for me and i asked on speaker phone for refund and kept telling the female manager that refunds must come from the restaurant there is no App refund or cancellation all monies are returned from the restaurant. so i told my nephew to move out the drive thru cause he thought he was waiting for the ignorant female manager to give him his money not being told by the police she could not or would not refund money for the horribly filled order. i got in another car and drove to the McDonalds 2107 Joppa Rd Parkville Maryland then arrived to retrieve my money for my order from this ignorant female manager and told her face to face i wanted my money and she told me her manager and the general manager has told her and will tell me we not giving you any money we did not physically take cash from you. ignorant female manager told me to get my refund from the App or cancel the order. (which all is clearly spelled out is not possible and all refunds must be directed at the restaurant where purchased) (its the restaurant that has charged my credit card and its the restaurant that is required to refund my money) i asked ignorant female manager where is the other manager or managers i asked her to call the general manager she refused instead said i was creating a disturbance and that she dont have time called the police on me. Police claim its a civil matter Mcdonalds is not worth getting in trouble with the law and said i was thrown out the restaurant. So she can take my money and refuse to return it then we (all customers) are suppose to remain civil because she as a Manager is ignorant in general and ignorant in business and ignorant in customer service !! ignorant female manager was taught her best response call the police !!! Long Long before all food was returned all the horribly filled order they got their food and my money.
10/26/23 that restaurant still did not contact me to apologize or refund my credit card. thats their attitude not only towards the mcdonalds customers that’s their ways to gouge money out of Mcdonalds customers but completely ignored Mcdonalds Corporate Offices i have not heard from a district manager No Body and this restaurant police escorted me off their property, i have not been invited back, so what good is Mcdonalds Corporate. i know i am suppose to continue working with this ignorance and possibly engage and become ignorant But No. worse still not getting my refund to my credit card well documented complaint exactly how long will they need to apologize and refund my money im sure im not the only customer this restaurant is gouging money out of Mcdonalds customers i literally had to prove to my Bank to refuse to pay and dispute those charges. It appears Employees are delegated and their attitude is contagious, every single person displays dedication to their work, to their employer and certainly to their customers. Food is always maintained hot and served hot. it’s well worth any wait in line you’ll always see several happy smiling customers. RUDE & OUTRAGEOUS DRIVE-THRU WAIT TIME! HORRIBLE STAFF N SERVICE! UNREASONABLE N COP CALLING MANAGERS! I am EXTREMELY disappointed with this McD's location and will NOT be going back!!! This was my favorite McDonald's to go to, however within the past month or so it has completely gone downhill. I am absolutely disgusted in the staff and service. The employees would rather play around than do their job. No one there deserves to be paid $15/hr!!!! The managers are not helpful either. The resteraunt is always short staffed. I've been turned away from the drive-thru, and their wait time is unacceptable. Once I even waited 45min in line, and it was even for an online PRE-order. When I went inside to ask about my food, everyone was clueless and my order had not even been started! My food is always wrong or missing something. One morning I almost went to jail over 1 breakfast sandwich!!!! My order was wrong and after it was not corrected after 2 attempts, I walked inside to speak to the manager. I spoke to her in a very calm and respectable manner, and she actually called the police on me. When I questioned her on the urgency call and why she called the police, I was told that she could.... She was the manager so she could do whatever she wanted!! I'm just so WOW'D and still cannot believe this actually happened! My orders always have something missing or something wrong with them. My special orders never come how I ask anymore. I ask for a plain sandwich and it comes with everything on it! My drinks have been wrong! I never get the sauce I ask for. I don't get napkins anymore. Then, when I ask for anything to be fixed, I get an attitude. It's really sad that I've been treated so bad so many times that I refuse to eat here ever again. Who waits 45min in any McD's drive thru? What McD's calls the POLICE because they can't get an order right!!! I'm just so shocked! The ONLY positive thing I can say about this location is that they have ONE great employee! There is a man who works the late night shift, I believe his name is James, and he is so kind. Read moreHave reduced my visits here. Continue to receive raw and/close to raw egg sandwiches even after asking for well done. Have complained several times to no avail. The good thing from it was that the manager was a bit nicer after I contacted corporate, but eggs were still runny even after waiting 15 minutes for it to be cooked. Sometimes we have waited over 30 minutes and eggs on sandwich was still runny, raw or partly done after asking for well done. Truly mystifying!
Also, they seem to periodically have issues with filling your cup of soda if you ask for no ice. They will tell you two things 1) it's the machine and there is nothing they can do about it. (Not true!) 2) It because you don't want ice. Sometimes it's because of the type of drink. Again not true. Just press the button to top it off or use a courtesy cup to fill it.
My other issue is only a few people at the window will wipe off the cup which has lots of soda/drink on the outside of the cup, even when the cup is missing anywhere from 1 inch - 3 inches sometimes more of the drink due to miss alignment and shaking from the machine pouring the beverages, etc. Then they get annoyed when you ask for napkins or for to wipe some of the dripping liquid off.
Often they forget they've asked you to wait 3 minutes for them to fix an item. It is never 3 minutes. Usually anywhere from 15- 30 minutes and as I've said, not done and I've had to go in to gather my food. And no, I wasn't at least able to refill my drink after waiting so long. There is no lobby drink machine there.
Not easy to get around drive through, parking wait area without concern of being blocked by others, especially the large delivery trucks.
But note there are about 3 people and one nice manager there. I don't see them often. But they do exist. They aren't there often enough for me anymore. They don't cook our food either.
