Buzz's Crab Shack & Seafood — Restaurant in Carolina Beach

Overpriced, dry food. Terrible service. Uncomfortable seating. Overall just a disappointment. We walked by this place last night and it was packed inside and out. We came early to miss the crowd, and even though there were only a few other people in the place, we waited over 20 minutes for a drink refill. My drink was completely empty before my food came out and someone that wasn’t our waitress brought our food out so I didn’t go out of my way ask her for one. My empty cup was sitting in the edge of the table so it could be clearly seen, but I don’t expect someone just running food to bring me a refill. I also needed BBQ for my chicken, which was asked for when I ordered my food. So I waited. I just sat there staring at the kitchen door waiting for it to open for over 20 minutes. It was super slow and I have no idea what our waitress was doing back there but she should have came out to check how our food came out, right?? By the time I had a drink and the sauce to go with my food it was cold. Then after she finally did come back and realized I was waiting there for all that time, she didn’t seem to care. Then again we waited forever for the check. We’ll never be back and we don’t suggest anyone to try it and go through what we did. My boyfriend tried his best to eat his food but it was so disgusting that he only got through half of it…he will literally eat anything so that’s sad. I had Wyatt as my server and he was the best waiter I’ve ever had in my life. I got a Post Malone vibe from him which was quite pleasant. I mean, some people don’t really like Post, but his music is a great change of pace from today’s mainstream rap and R&B. Personally, I liked Stoney more than Beerbongs & Bentleys. It had a much more cohesive sound and flow throughout. It also had much higher replay value, both as a complete project and as individual songs. I mean, how do you fit so many country trap BANGERS on one album? Broken Whiskey glass? 🔥 No Option? 🔥 White Iverson? 🔥 I Fall Apart?🔥 Go Flex? 🔥Too Young? 🔥 Congratulations?🔥 Leave? 🔥 Hit This Hard? 🔥 Feeling Whitney? 🔥 It’s a classic album for sure. Beerbongs & Bentleys not so much. I feel like Post strayed from the unique sound that hooked me on Stoney and moved too far toward pop. Don’t get me wrong, there’s some straight HEAT (🔥) on B&B, but it’s a disappointing sophomore album considering how great his debut was. But really, Post is about way more than the music. This man’s vibe quality is off the chart. This is the kind of dude you’d want to have a beer (or 15) with. He clearly doesn’t take himself too seriously at all and he seems to enjoy every minute of being alive. It’s inspirational, to be honest. We should all live a little more like Post. I mean who gets a face tattoo that says “always tired” under his eyes? A man with a straight up legendary vibe. That’s who.

Honestly, I don’t even remember the food I ate here. But having a man who truly embodies all that Post represents as a waiter made my experience at this restaurant amazing.

My daughter went to eat at this restaurant and the food and service were sub par. My daughter noticed during her meal her wallet went missing and asked for assistance to see if anyone saw or returned it. Her wallet had $300, credit card, and ID in it. Without any help or concern from the staff she asked if she could speak to the owner or manager who was apparently unavailable. She was also told that losing her wallet was her problem. Lost or stolen in an establishment should be of concern to them too. So the next logical solution that came to my daughter's mind was to ask if the restaurant could review their video footage to see what happened. She was told "NO". My daughter called me and put me on the phone with MAGGIE the bartender who was very defensive,aggressive, and while yelling at me repeated "no they would not look at the security footage" and then hung up on me. She said the owner would call me in the morning. MAGGIE was very offended that I was accusing someone of stealing the wallet which was not the case. The security footage would help see if it was stolen or where possibly it was misplaced. This seemed like a very big red flag to not want to help. To make a long story short MAGGIE the bartender is rude and treats customers horribly! She should be FIRED! When someone doesn't want to look at security footage at an establishment and could care less in investgating what may have happened I guess it can be assumed that lack of caring or assistance could indicate dishonest behavior at this restaurant.
