The pizza was perfect. Unfortunately, they have no delivery drivers right now!! Wonder if it's rude customers???? It's worth it to me to do carry out until the COMPANY gets the people to do this. I know an applicant who said corporate NEVER called him back after applying. I don't know how they KEEP delivery drivers as it is. I've always had friendly, courteous delivery drivers and ensure I always tip well. It's a two-way street.
The manager who answered directly from the Lake Park Boulevard location was super nice on the phone, informed me she is fairly new and that she made my last pizza personally. She made sure everything was satisfactory,did an excellent job and obviously cares about everyone's ordering experience. I returned today in person and she acknowledged my repeat business appreciatively. Our delivery driver Tom on the previous order was helpful and gracious. The weather was stormy, my dog was rude, but he was calm and professional. We enjoy the best pan pizza, cheese sticks and outstanding service here. We are grateful for everything they do.
Be aware if you telephone their location and get a recording you were rolled to an outsourced backup call center--happens during peak times--this services multiple restaurants. They at the call center have messed up orders repeatedly no matter how carefully the information is enunciated and repeated. This is NOT able to be prevented or controlled by the people cooking and working at Lake Park location. Best to order online if you're unable to go in person or keep trying until your call goes through directly... Let corporate know when it's transmitted inaccurately from the call centers and understand it's not the cooks...
Read moreDoes Pizza Hut even have a phone inside this location? Because I keep getting a busy beeping tone every time, & I've need to talk to someone about my past 3 orders. I guess decent customer service isn't a goal. This order I needed help with a code I was given via email since the app wouldn't deduct my free pizza. The representative told me there was nothing she could do & that I needed to order thru the store. They connected me & same thing as the past 2 times, got a line busy beeping tone. Called a couple more times, same thing. Previous order I was charged for what I ordered yet when it was delivered over an hour later I got half of my order & the receipt the driver had stated I didn't order what my statement was online (was missing 2 items, one of those items being a pizza for my kids). So needless to say we were very upset. The order before that one was late as well & was cold, the driver said they tried the best they can with the little help they had at their location.
My advice, hire more people, don't have your customer calls go straight to a beeping tone, I'm sure everyone would be okay with waiting until someone answers versus hoping they're the only ones calling at that time to get service. & Get the kinks fixed for the ones who order thru the app get exactly what they order & the store sees...
Read moreI ordered a medium pizza and breadsticks at 704pm, delivery time was 99 minutes. Ok, probably short staffed, so I ordered anyways. That made my supposed delivery time 940. By the time 950 rolled around, and I still hadn’t seen my order, I tried calling the store. No answer. 10, no answer. 1030, no answer. Mind you this store closes at 11. I assume I’m not getting my pizza and order from Papa John’s. It says 30 min, I get it at 1105pm. THEN literally as my PJ delivery driver is leaving, pizza huts driver rolls up. Handing me my cold food I tell him it’s been 4 hours, I don’t need this anymore. He says he has been the only delivery driver all night, and it’s his first night. Though I know it is not his fault, I should’ve received a call from someone from this store within the 4 hours it has taken me from start to finish to get my food. Driver, manager, kitchen staff, anyone! And this is not my first issue with this store! Too bad there isn’t another location closer I could use. Poor poor...
