If I could leave negative stars I would, I mean good god almighty I’ve had some bad Chinese food but this takes the cake so sit down grab a drink, this will take a moment. Let me just start by saying none of this “experience” (if you can even call it that) was pleasant. Starting with the phone call, man on the phone sounded like he wanted to die and talking to me was the last chore he had to do on this earth before he expired. Aside from our order being completely wrong, the food was disgusting. Unfortunately didn’t notice there was a hair in the food until we were nearly done eating. The meat looked rotten and the rice was over cooked. You can eat inside the restaurant “technically” if you’re okay with paper plates, plastic silverware, and an annoyed man watching every bite you eat then go for it, personally, not my thing. Avoid at all costs, the only possible situation I can envision it being appropriate to eat here would be under duress by the Federal Bureau of Investigation. May god have mercy on...
Read moreThe 1 star is specifically as a warning about the "food". It was overly greasy, oily, extremely salty and some was even inedible, like the dry/hard wontons that looked like they'd been sitting around for a few hours. I had ordered the food online, so I just had to pick up the food, and it was typical for a takeout restaurant and the greeting from the lady running the counter was friendly. However, once I got home I discovered that all of the food was fried in oil that clearly hadn't been changed all day or maybe in two days? The fried chicken for example was a dark unappetizing brown instead of a light golden color, and the General Tso's chicken had no flavor, or spice whatsoever. I ended up throwing 90% of the $60 meal in the trash that I'd bought for my family's night in...and we settled for whatever we had in the fridge. Ah, well. I won't be returning, and I give fair warning to anyone to not waste their...
Read moreMy family would frequent Top Wok several times per month - this past weekend we purchased a large order for friends and family close to $60 worth of food. Three different people eating three different meals found HAIR in their food. When I called the restaurant they stated to bring the food back. When I got there they said they could only give $10 refund because the food was 1/2 eaten. I explained that of course the food had been eaten until we found the hairs and then no one is going to eat the food after that occurs!!!!! He yelled chinese at me and refused to refund the money for 3 combination meals, egg roll and wonton soup .... I urge you to look carefully before eating .... eat may taste good but that doesn't mean it is not contaminated !!!!!!!
I have called the Department of health and the Better...
