First let’s talk about the positives. Great and amazing flavor food. The negatives, Terrible and slow service, waitresses that are too busy to check on their own customers. The waitress was quick to greet us but then took half an hour for her to take our order and then when we got our food, it was cold. Never refilled our water and had to remind her that we never rcvd our sangrias we ordered when we ordered our food that took 30 min to come out of the kitchen. And then to top it off, when she went to bring us our croquetas, one fell off the plate and she grabbed it with her bare hands, walked around the bar and pretended like she was going to the kitchen and pretty sure she placed it back on the plate and brought it to our table, and when we said something about the one falling off the plate, she made it sound as if she got us a fresh one, which I clearly watched her not do. She had a major attitude and acted like she did nothing wrong. Truly sad that this was the experience we had for our first and last time. The waitress who ended up bringing us our bill was extremely sweet and asked for us to come back and ask for her, but this out such a bad taste in our mouth that I’m not sure we will. There’s plenty of other restaurants that would appreciate...
Read moreHi I came to this location around 1:00 pm Sunday afternoon which was my first time being here, and my uncle and aunt spoke about this restaurant. Also they were going to meet us there with my parents, aunt, and grandma while ordering. Victor was our server that time. Well upon ordering I decided to have the Bistec en Cebollado con Mofongo instead of rice and beans. As for the plate I ordered it came as a shock to me of how good it was. The steak was juicy and tender and as for the mofongo itself it was well prepared which also had a lot of onion stew to match with the steak. Not too many places I’ve been to prepare food like that. As for my parents and relatives plates, it came out great. The name of this restaurant sounds like the Platanal and may remind you of it. We had a pretty good experience coming here, maybe in the future...
Read moreWent yesterday for the first time. For starters the place has a very great parking(shared with other places of the mall). I had Pechuga rellena de Amarillo (Chicken breast stuffed with mashed ripe plantain wrapped in bacon along with guava sauce) and Bifongo ( Same as a mofongo just adds ripe plantain to the mix. Oh boy it was sooo good! Worth it, will be back soon. Asked for rice an beans for my niece and them beans were sooo great, also tasted the churrasco and the carne frita too... Everything was good! The staff very friendly and even though there were many people the wait wasn't too long. The only downside to my experience was that the floor was slippery (felt greasy) and when I went to the bathroom I...
