Rusty's Pizza Parlor — Restaurant in Carpinteria

It was the second time I went to this pizza chain, and I was dissapointed. For 4.4 stars they should do better. The pizza was ok. Taste good, but very greasy. The place is not so clean. The price for this kind of pizza is a joke. Blaze and Pielogy pizza is way better and cheaper. I didn't understand the rules with salad, but I saw people eating salad from their plates, so I went to take some, and I was told by Spanish lady in Spanish that I can't. I went to talk to the cashier what I can do to have the salad, and he just told me that I can't eat it from the plate. I asked what if I want to eat salad, and he answered that I am going to be caught on the camera! (Seriously?😂🙈). After that, I asked him again what I am supposed to do, where the bowls are, and if I have to purchase it. Then he finally told me -what he supposed tell me at the beginning - about the bowls and prices, but I was like... really? Assuming that I wanted to steal salad?! Haha 😁 It is funny, but they really should work on better...

The online ordering site wasn’t working properly so I called to place a very large order for our office, something we do fairly often. The woman who answered the phone was incredibly rude! While working my way through the order for all the pizzas, it became clear that courteous customer service was not part of her job description. I finally asked to speak with someone else to complete my order. She said no, so I proceeded to move on to the chicken wing part of our order before getting to the salads. When I asked for an order of 25 wings (I was looking at their menu online and it stated orders of 12 or 25 per order). In her rude tone she told me I could only get 10 or 20 and which did I want. I explained that their menu online stated something else, but I would take one of each so a total of 30. She told me to hold and after 10 mins of waiting I finally hung up. Rusty’s Pizza has lost...

We went searching for Rusty's a few months ago and this is are second trip. Their not local to us, and if they were this would be our Friday meal every week. Traditional preparation makes for pizza that reminds me of my childhood time with family, especially my Dad. The cheese pizza is amazing, cheese cooked just right having a slight crisp to it. Pepperoni, plenty of them also cooked just right. I gave the atmosphere a five, because it works just right for a casual family place, I feel it would be great for teams and they have a number of videos arcade games available. We drive an hour to this place....
