Had a broken phone and went in to replace it, when I arrived there was a poster that advertised the exact same service, as I walked in I quoted the poster with a jubilant attitude for the new device. Within a few seconds of walking into the store I was treated with subtle but very harsh anger. The person working there was talking down on me with great significance as if I was a child. I felt extremely disrespected by her tone and attitude, as a black American her tone reminded me of a type of person with extreme prejudice for someone they have never met. With her violent tone I just tried to ask a few questions and kept a smile on my face and didnāt reciprocate her hateful excitement at my presence. I still want to buy a new phone with my money in my hand, but will go to another location after this interaction. Also she kept saying I ācouldnāt afford itā and never went through the purchasing options properly as a sales person, Iām not the richest person but I already have a brand new iPad with data, and when purchasing that product other Verizon employees didnāt treat me as if I couldnāt afford it. Been a customer for a little over a decade and have bought 3 iPhones and two Ipads with no...

My father was recently upsold on hundreds of dollars of none refundable equipment by Yaquelin V. at Verizon in Carpinteria. She told my father that he could cancel what he was signing up for after 30 days and pressured him into signing her tablet without giving him the opportunity to look over the charges. (720 dollars in phone cases and screen protectors for two devices) and when he expressed his disappointment with the service and tried to return the equipment, they informed him that he could only get back a fraction of the money he paid. When confronted by my father that he wanted his money back and that he wanted to speak to a manager, Yaquelin laughed at him and said āi donāt care, you signed and we have your social security number and this will all get charged to your creditā
This is a very dishonest way of doing business, Kirk and Yaquelin should be ashamed of the way they take advantage of people. I PRAY that Verizon stops working with companies like Victra that allow these selling...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWorst customer service Iāve ever experienced i came to this store because itās very convenient for me because I live here in Carpinteria!, so I came here this past Friday September 8th around 2:30 or so, so mgmt. should know who worked that day? I waited about a half hour and Iāll give her a little break because she had a customer in front of her?, but no hello Iāll be with you in a few moments? And for ten to 15 mins. It was completely silence she wasnāt doing much of anything, the customer was looking something up on his phone?, so she had time to say something to me then?nothing! So my complaint is to mgmt. she needs a class in customer service!, she looked like 18 to 20ish so I doubt she cared one bit how she made me feel, so in between the half hour I finally had enough and stormed out of there! Iām waiting for mgmt. to tell me or apologize to me after all Iāve been with Verizon for more then this young lady has been alive!! If I could put a big fat ZERO I would! Upset customer in...
